Alexanders of Twickenham was originally known as Fields Garage when it opened in 1917 as Whitton's first garage. Alexanders, as it is known today, was founded in 1990 and operated as an official Peugeot car dealer until 1997. Later, it became an independent garage specialising in the repair and servicing of other brands such as; Peugeot, Renault and Citroen.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They even refused to take money I offered them for checking my car but they explained to me what is wrong with my car (after half an hour test drive and check in the garage), what I need to do and how much it will cost if they will fix this issue. I'll definitely use them again, but this time I went to original dealer garage because of the warranty.

I've visited Alexanders twice - the first time when my car wasn't starting and the second for an MOT. Both times the service has been amazing, they are really friendly, the work is thorough and the pricing is very transparent and fair. I'm always a bit self-conscious that I'm not very clued up on cars, but each time somebody has explained everything super clearly and made sure I'm happy with the associated costs before going ahead. Alexanders are brilliant and I would recommend to everyone!

They are too costly - for changing position sensor he quoted me 200+ pounds. I have got a funny feeling that whenever I give my car to this garage, after few days one or other things comes up. Owner was rude - he was talking as if I am not going to pay for the services. There was one guy who was gentle and was pleasure to talk to - but after experiencing owner's attitude towards customers - I am not going to visit them anymore.
