We're a family owned and award-winning Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealership. We were one of the first Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Franchises in the UK and we've been supporting our customers' van, truck and pickup requirements for almost 50 years! In 1975, Ciceley was appointed as the first Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle franchise for the Lancashire area.
Ciceley grew rapidly between 1996 and 2002 with the acquisition of premises in Bolton in 1996, Carlisle in 1998 and Dumfries in 2002. By 2003 the original Ciceley Lane facilities had become unsuitable for modern days needs, therefore a purpose-built facility was opened in December adjacent to the Junction 4 intersection of the M65 to accommodate another Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Franchise. The Ciceley Lane site now houses our Head Office, including a purpose-built PDI centre, which was opened in 2018.

Just want to say a special thank you to Jason(mgr) for helping me out today. Had a replacement heater control unit fitted, then realised it needed programming. Rang Bolton cicely who told me they could not help me till the 17th March. It's a Vito taxi and without heating in the vehicle I would have been off the road for several weeks which I cannot afford. Called Jason and told him the situation who said let me check the work load and call you back.

He did and had the unit programmed by midday. Now I am back at work. Goodwill gestures like this customers don't forget. And you can't keep people off the road till 17/2 for minor mishaps. Bought a key fob. From Mercedes Blackburn. Soon as I bought it I had problems. The customer service I recieved only caused more problems. They wanted to keep van and key fob fir three or 4 days just to check it wasn't working.! They wanted more money to get another one even though it was in warranty. Then after months? Years? They said it's out of warranty now.

Even though I'd reported it 2 weeks after purchasing it. I was told a manager would call me didn't happen. They will take your cash and any problems they want more cash to sort it. Stay clear customer unfriendly.

If you dont want any customer service, your vehicle back anytime soon. and have deep pockets then Ciceley Mercedes is for you! dropped car in on day they requested at 9.15am called at 4pm to find out what's going on to be asked when do I want the car back and can I leave it with them as they haven't got around to it? after making a fuss I eventually got it back at 7pm but was then told they didn't get around to all the jobs so I have to take it back another time!

After giving a detailed description of the fault that I wanted them to look at and dropping van of 4 days prior to my booked appointment, they then didn't look at it until 2 days after my appointment. When they did eventually look at it they said it was too old (9 1/2 year, information they had before it went in) and that there were lots of faults, yes I know there were faults!

That's why I took it to a main dealer. They then wouldn't tell me what the faults were, just that there were lots of them and they didn't have time to look at them. Only 150 mile round trip and another 6 days wasted. Would have been less than 1 star had it not been for the fact they didn't charge me for what I already knew. Stay clear!

Service dept understaffed, takes a week to get a booking.and you get pushed back if breakdowns come in
