I left a 5 star review for these guys after having nearly 2000 worth of work done to the car but since having the work done I have realised there was damage to a wheel thread that they worked on and cost me 200 to repair the pad they changed split in half because of a slipping part in the breaks. Also when they done the service a part wasn't put back on properly so my car leaked oil everywhere.

At the time I thought their work was pricey so I took it to my current garage and they couldn't believe the pricing on the invoice their labour costs are 20 per HR more than anywhere else and so far I can't see why. In my opinion I would avoid this garage if you want a good honest job done.

While looking to replace my ancient Vauxhall Astra, a neighbour recommended Ashington Autos. Stuart was really helpful and after looking at the website I decided on a Corsa. The whole process went really smoothly, and I appreciated the attention to detail. I'm really pleased with the car and will definitely be recommending this company.

Well, after popping in to have a look at some cars I've only gone and bought one! Spoke to Sean, who allowed me the time to take it for a drive. I am very pleased with my new car, and I appreciated Sean spotting that the car would need new front brakes. Especially extra touch that he also got a new parcel shelf because he "wasn't happy with the old one"

Ashington Automobile bought my car via Motorway. Scott was great at keeping in touch, as was the collection driver Chris. From sale to collection was less than two days, which is pretty impressive given the distance involved (I'm 450 miles away) and the numerous weather warnings across the country. I don't normally write reviews, but saw a less than positive one and think it's important to balance the books!

They were supposed to be buying a car from me through Wizzle (Carwow), so we arranged a date that it would be collected and I had to send over my bank details, driving licence and V5 log book, in advance. There was no sign of the transport company on the day, so I tried to get hold of Ashington all day long to chase them up, and was told only Scott could help with my query.

I left messages for him to call me back, but this never happened. I was told he would call me back a couple of times, and also assured that the car was definitely being collected still but I just had to wait until 5pm. The salesman I spoke to both times was in my opinion quite rude, and it seemed as though he couldn't wait to get rid of me off the phone.

It then gets to the end of the day and Scott emails me rather than calls, to say it doesn't look like they're coming. I've sold various cars through Wizzle and all other dealers have been very helpful and great at arranging collection and keeping me updated, but unfortunately the communication from Ashington wasn't quite the same. No doubt they will blame the transport company, but it transpires that the one they used had no website, reviews etc. and they had a reputation for not collecting cars.

I have been in contact with Scott in regards to selling my mums focus via Wizzle. I can say with confidence the serivce I received was second to non. Scott was very helpful through the process, always kept me up to date and was very fair with the price. I saw a negative review on here and was a little sceptical going forward as I was starting to believe it was too good to be true.

I've never sold a car this way before but I defiantly would recommend it to anyone else. I agreed a prive yesterday afternoon and sent all relevant information. The car was collected today at 12pm so very quick and smooth, I had no issues what so ever. Thanks again Scott

I recently went into the garage and was immediately greeted by a member of staff. I then spoke with a very friendly and polite staff member called Sean, who answered all my question and was very patient with me. I had an overall nice experience from the moment I arrived, to the time I left. Sean was highly professional and I would strongly recommend using their dealership for anyone looking for a car.

Purchased a Ford Fiesta for my daughter from this dealership this morning. Very straightforward transaction. No high pressure sales tactics. Very fair trade in value on our old vehicle. Reasonable price paid for the Fiesta. Very nice people to deal with. Would recommend to others.
