Cecil & Larter established in 1927 as a small family run garage based in Out Risbygate Street, over the last 91 years we have grown in to a large used car dealership with over 100 vehicles in stock. This expansion has seen the move in to a new site based on Sharon Road and to our main showroom at Wentworth House on Mildenhall Rd.

That's why we have launched our Concierge Service, a personalised, one-to-one approach to selecting, tailoring and purchasing or leasing your next new car. As an independent dealer, we are not affiliated to any specific manufacturer.

On 10th June 2022 I called in at Cecil & Larter to try and buy a spare light bulb set for my ageing Seat Ibiza. Unfortunately this main Seat dealer does not keep the spare bulb set I needed in stock. But salesman Tom Crawford did a very professional job in selling me a newer Seat Ibiza from the company's secondhand stock and taking in my older Seat as a trade-in!
I had been planning to get a newer Seat but this was really an impulse buy on a regular journey from London to Sheringham. Impressed with Cecil & Larter - much better than the nearest Seat dealer to my home on the edge of London.

I recently purchased a used Honda Civic at Cecil and Larter and the whole experience was very relaxed and warming compared to previous car dealerships. Grahame was very helpful and professional throughout the process. The cars are well looked after and the team create such a friendly atmosphere as everyone chipped in to help or just go have a chat. Overall great experience and I'm loving my car already

I cant fault my experience with Cecil & Larter, Tom made the whole experience easy and was a joy to deal with. From viewing the car, test driving and changing my plates Tom sorted it all out for me and kept in contact to keep me updated. The after service has been great too, I had a couple of small issues and they were sorted promptly. Thoroughly recommend :

I brought my used car from this dealership and received a brilliant, efficient and friendly service from the staff here. Damon in particular went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this dealership as the whole experience was stress-free. When it came to us spotting a few minor fixes and raising this with them, they were more than happy to get them sorted for us. Go for this dealership if you want a car at a good market price.

The car was immaculate on the forecourt, Tom Crawford was so friendly, helpful and professional, he made the process so easy and smooth. No hard sell which is a massive pet hate of mine, great part exchange on my car, the whole team were so friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. All documents received quickly via email, car looked stunning and had that new car smell on pick up, my private plates will be made up for me and the icing on the cake was a huge bouquet of flowers when Tom opened the boot as a thankyou to me for having my car serviced! Such a lovely touch, I would not hesitate in recommending Tom and Cecil and Larter, would happily buy from them again.

Attentive service from beginning to end. Tom Crawford was very easy to deal with and answered all our many questions with additional photos and documents as were unable to view the car before leaving a deposit. Never thought we would a car remotely but the experience was surprisingly satisfactory at this garage. Not sure the experience would have been the same with just the online retailers. Lovely car difficult to get at the price we paid locally to where we live. Very pleased and would recommend both Tom and the garage.
