I would highly recommend Hamlet Cars. I bought a Nissan Micra from them in October and from the moment I saw the car (when it wasn't ready for sale) to a few weeks later when I drove it away, the customer service was exemplary. Nando was very kind and helpful, kept me informed of progress and gave some good advice. Frank was also very helpful on the day of collection. I'm really pleased with the car which is a good little runner and had very low mileage. I would definitely use Hamlet Cars in the future.

I bought a car from here last week. After finding several possible cars, I decided to travel the extra miles as the reviews here were a lot more positive compared to the other dealerships I looked at. The longer journey was worth it! I explained it would take me about 1hr 20mins to get there and asked if they could hold it so I don't waste my time driving down, which they did.
On arrival the great service continued. Very polite and straight talking team. I never felt pressured and once I decided to buy, they made sure the car was in perfect condition ie made sure it passed the MOT with flying colours and also applied new brake pads on it. This wasn't negotiated into the price! Best dealership I've been to and will use again.

Bought my wife a Mini Convertible recently, I whole experience was excellent, their service was second to none! To be honest I bought a brand new car in March from a main dealership who I thought were very good but the guy's at Hamlet cars beat them hands down. I can thoroughly recommend this company.

All I can do is highly recommend this used car garage. Just recently purchased a Mini Countryman and what a great experience I had from Nando. I don't usually write up reviews, but hope this help others. We wasted an hours journey today to view a Mini Cooper at Hamlets. A good specification for a seven-year-old Mini, but the bodywork was poor (DIY paint touch up to indoor panels on both sides, which had small rust marks and a crack on the wing mirror). The price marked up on the Mini, in my opinion, didn't reflect on the car's defects, (not defects on the AutoTrader ad) so we asked the sales rep kindly for a reduction, or to make the defects good.
We had a part exchange and was only offered 500 and that's all (no effort in meeting us halfway). We found the overall customer experience very poor. If only the Mini was advertised with the defects, and when we made the initial phone call to inquire, had the salesperson mentioned on the phone the good and the bad, we would have never had travelled down.

We were really delighted with the team at Hamlet. They were friendly and accommodating and most importantly did their utmost to answer our questions and give us what we need to make our choice of car. You can tell that they have been doing this work for a long time - as they are extremely experienced and professional. Even when we had some complications with selling our old vehicle, the Hamlet team were really understanding and helped us to put an alternative plan in place and never put us under pressure at any stage. We are delighted with our car and would definitely use Hamlet again in the future.

After visiting several car dealers, we bumped into Hamlet Cars and I have to say, it was a great experience. The dealer, Nando, is really prepared and very friendly, there to support and advise you, without being pushy. Great professionalism, something that I couldn't find in all the others dealers I have visited. Highly recommended!
