REM Car Sales

Bad experience with this car dealer. I bought a Toyota Aygo from this car dealer on the 31st August. There were all sorts of faults with the car. There was a fault with the power steering, causing this to feel heavy when driving it. As well as this, when using the footbrake, stopping at a traffic light, the car stops, it wouldn't move. An exclamation mark appears on the dashboard.

This happens every day with the car, on average at least 6 to 10 times a day. This happened to me during rush hour when driving to and back from work. The car broke down on the dual carriageway. I was unable to move it. I have only had the car for 3 months and it is already breaking down. This is my first car and I am very disappointed with this car dealer.

This car has caused a lot of problems in 3 months. The car dealer tried to hide the fact the car wasn't driven because it was a first car. He made no mention of how many faults the car had. The car dealer is a very untrustworthy person. I wrote a review on "Cars of Manchester", site. The car dealer knew who I was and what he did to me. He sent an email to Auto trader saying he didn't sell me a grey Toyota Aygo with faults and he didn't know who I was.

Auto Trader asked me for proof, I had the invoice as proof. As well as, the bank transfer I made to "Cars of Manchester". Auto trader reviewed my evidence, my review is back up on the "Cars of Manchester", site This man is putting young girls lives at risk. I don't know how he sleeps at night. I would recommend not purchasing a vehicle from this man if you value your lift. God knows what will be wrong with the car you purchase from him. If he can do this to a young girl then I wonder what else he has been doing. He is a very dangerous man.

I posted a 1 star review of my dealership, which selled me a faulty car and refused to give me a refund in less than 6 days after the purchase. I sent all the information I had to proove the facts described by me to Car Dealer Reviews, and one day later they published my review, and thanked me to warn others through their platform. You guys are doing a great service to the people, thank you.

Wonderful service, couldn't be happier! They verified my dealings with the dealership quickly. The negative reviews are mostly from dealers who have provided appalling services to customers - Thus why you should always provide good customer service, you never know who your customers might be. No one goes through the trouble and lengths of writing a bad review unless they have genuinely been treated abysmally - so fix up. Treat a customer well and they might tell someone about the service they received treat a customer badly and they will complain to any and everyone willing to listen.

I think it's a very good thing to have a website like this. It gives us customers a voice to let others know about the quality of service we receive when buying or maintaining our vehicles. From what the dealers are saying (see the 1 star comments) it's obviously having an impact. I say, well done Car Dealer Reviews and keep up the great work.

A fantastic website that allows customers to review their expirences with car dealerships. I was asked to verify the purchase of the car with a sales receipt before my review was allowed on the site. There are so many dodgy dealerships and maybe they will start treating customers better if they know websites like this exist. It's a fantastic platform and I'm very grateful to have been able to warn others about the horrendous treatment I received.

This is a great website to check before buying as it is a good indicator of the type of dealer you are buying from i.e you want an honest reliable car dealer who does not want to just take your hard-earned cash, sell you a car which is over-priced for its age, which has many hidden faults, does not complete the paperwork correctly and who offers a terrible, rude and insulting after-sales service just so that they get a really good profit on their dodgy sales.

I wish I had known about this website before I bought my car. I would have thought twice before going to that particular dealer as I only checked their testimonials on their website.

Absolutely would recommend checking Car Dealer Review on a dealership before vehicle purchase. In order to have your review posted, it must be verified! As in complete strangers can not leave a review or fake reviews (made by the dealers themselves to boost ratings); you have to show proof that you have communicated with the Dealer and/or brought something from them. Then the review will be posted. This is very effective because it makes the reviews trustworthy.

In essence its a good guide to judge how well a car dealer is performing. We found that even a bad review handled properly can turn into a positive review. It's is easy to compete and verify although I found it impossible to upload a copy of the invoice, hence 4 stars not 5. This may well be due to a mistake on my part rather than the system though!

I think it is really useful to have websites on which car dealers can be reviewed. What was surprising was that Car Dealers asked me for the invoices from the dealership before accepting my post. This makes the validity of review much higher despite the fact that the car dealers can alter the score without inputting any invoice and mentioning that someone call and the ladies at the reception were wonderful.
