I travelled from Northampton to Manchester to see a car at HPL motors Oldham and eventually purchase if all things checked out and I am certainly glad it did. The staff here was very helpful, informative and most importantly honest! Big thank you to Phil Mckewan for sorting me out on my new Audi A4, much appreciated!

BUYERS BEWARE IF YOU BUY ONLINE FROM HPL MOTORS OLDHAM LEFT ONE STAR AS NO OPTION TO LEAVE LESS! We ordered, paid for car and paid privately for delivery as they wanted 450 to have delivered a Blue Peugeot 208 Allure Premium 2021 reg number MD70NHM 16499 so not exactly a cheap banger. Before purchasing I specifically asked about condition of bodywork etc.

This was a main priority as we stayed in Scotland. & had recently rejected a car from another major dealer as it was delivered with multiple scratches etc. 'ARI' Arash Enayati the salesman pointed out a micro stone chip and a very small scratch, other than that he said it's in very good condition, This led us to purchase the car in good faith on his alleged honesty on the condition of car!

When the car was delivered I noticed straight away the car had been spray painted, the entire passengers side was painted, looked like some back street garage job, blotchy paint, runs, very bad orange peel, dust under clear coat, even painted over a deep scratch, paint along window rubber, on mirror even painted over keyhole on handle, over spray etc. etc.

I was absolutely gutted ' NOT AGAIN' I thought Contacted 'ARI ' the salesman with an eye for detail. His reply was: I'm sorry your not happy with the condition of the car. 'you have 14 days to return to us at your own cost' Spoke to another 'sales rep' he said he was the purchaser of the 208 for hpl and it did have bad scratches that needed repaired.

I gave them the option of getting the car booked into a local body shop and having paint done properly or refunding 1000 and I would have reluctantly arranged this myself. They were not interested at resolving the botched paintwork. I had to pay for car to be returned! If like myself you are a distance away, be aware they take 1 a mile off price paid for every mile driven over 20 miles even though the mis sold car was being returned DUE TO NON FAULT, or they charge 1.50 +vat per mile to collect.

On return of car to HPL my delivery driver said around four men came out had a look and agreed it was a mess and apparently the valeter should have noticed before it was released. I am now 500 out of pocket for delivery & insurance costs through no fault of my own. 14 emails and phone calls to no avail, every time told another manager dealing with it and he is not in till Mon, Sat, Wed etc. etc. HPL Motors refusing to compensate any of my outlay whatsoever. IF YOUR GOING TO PURCHASE ONLINE, I RECOMEND THAT YOU DON'T They are your best friend until the minute they have your cash, This is the point of no return after which there's NO CUSTOMER AFTER CARE THEY HAVE ' SINCE 'PUT IN TRAINING AFTER I'M 500 OUT OF POCKET

Spoke to Alan Shepard on the phone and easily arranged a test drive. Very helpful staff when getting car valeted and small blemishes put right Alan was friendly and helpful in person, easy to deal with and helpful again during the paperwork. Be wary of the bow on the windscreen when you collect though.

Booked in for a service. Job completed to a good standard in a friendly manner. Decent waiting area with a free to use coffee machine, sofas and a TV. All of the staff that we came across were friendly. Especially Scott. Thanks for looking after us so well. We will definitely see you again soon

Had my car from here, would highly recommend using this company, customer service from Jordan was ace, tried his best and did everything he could to get me the best deal. Could not of asked for anymore. Rest of staff around was good too, ensured I was being seen to etc. Like I said, would definitely recommend and will be using these again.

We came to visit the branch on Saturday and Will was our sales advisor. He was helpful through the whole process as was very indecisive on what car I wanted. He helped and advised and did a lot of figures for me eventually we found the car and he's been great up until collection. I've just purchased my 4th car from the Oldham branch. 1 car had a brake issue got it fixed in my local garage by their request and they paid the garage to save me a 60 mile round trip to there garage. just got my 4th slight problem with parcel shelf there ordering one and getting it delivered to me Can't knock the sales people always friendly and very helpful ive dealt with Filip on the last 2 occasions the lad bends over backwards to help came in on his day off as my car was ready so I could pick it up on my day off now that's service

Chris was professional throughout the whole process of purchasing our new car. Answered all our questions and was very informative and was not pushy regarding the car sale at any point. They have a good stock of cars in their showroom.

We went to HPL seeking advice after purchasing a brand new car elsewhere that wouldn't be ready in time. Sean was on hand to offer advice knowing there wouldn't be a sale. With honest advice, we bought a car from HPL due to the no pressure approach that felt genuine. Sean offered what felt like a personal service and on hand daily to deal with the complications we offered. Thanks Sean and Merry Christmas!

Not the best experience. Do not trust the part ex valuation as they do not honour what's quoted, as explained to us, "the quotations are out of date and look at prices from October". We took our 1 year old Seat Ateca FR Sport, with only 8800 miles on down due to being quoted 26,115 part ex value using HPL's online valuation tool, (this was based. on our mileage being entered incorrectly at 6,000 miles, we then did another quote for correct mileage and this came back at 25,910.) as we want to downgrade to a cheaper car to pay our wedding off. The car is almost immaculate, has 1 tiny mark on the front bumper which was explained wouldn't effect the part ex value. Initial welcome was good, .

Alan at HPL Motors Preston was friendly, approachable and arranged everything for my car purchase and the part exchange of my car to make the whole process very stress free. Would highly recommend HPL motors and will definitely be returning in the future!

I advertised my car for sale so HPL quoted me 16497. When I took the vehicle down for inspection they quoted me 15000. I said to the chap who I was dealing with Kyle Moore thanks, but no thanks. Considering the car was in excellent condition, twelve months MOT and a full service history and low mileage, I just drove off. Since my visit to HPL, the car sold for 17000 I rest my case. Good day

Was referred here by a friend and had high expectations when I reached here in terms of trust and quality. It's rare to see that it was indeed true. The staff here were very honest and friendly. The cars were fairly priced and they make sure we know what we are getting our hands on. Jordan from sales helped us with the purchase and the staff in general are very patient and helpful.

Unlike other dealers where we visited, wasn't focussing hard on selling add-ons but only recommended what we needed our our situation. Kudos to the team, keep doing a great job!

Have been extremely disappointed by the customer service I received. I had to ring them twice to enquire about the progress of my new MG3 which I was buying cash. Was told Simon Wright would ring me back and no 'phone call came. It seems as though my custom is not required and I should get my deposit back and purchase something elsewhere
