Since the first time I used this garage 2 years ago after an accident, I have kept coming back! I've had my last three MOT's done here and the service is always top notch. Of course I have to give Susie a special mention as her customer service skills are amazing. The garage is run so smoothly, Just as quick as my car goes in, it comes back, no unnecessary waiting or inconveniences which is always a plus. I highly recommend their services and will continue being a returning customer for all my car needs!

Told that did not know what's the light on the dashboard was for what purposes. If a mechanic does not know what are the lights that google told me a 30 second why has opened the shop? Needed just a little fluid to sort out the problem and engine was in danger : Halford did the task free. But this centre told bring the car again, we charge 80 per h to identify the problem (next door garage told 30 per h without seeing the car and knowing that did not need any workup!) Changed also a piece as part of MOT, giving the above you judge yourself how possibly reliable even that piece of advice would have been. This is in the best case scenario insufficiency and in the worst case dishonesty, you judge.

I can't sing their praises enough! I was a complete car repair novice at the start of this process but Highways guided me through with patience and professionalism (even when I was calling every other day to check some detail on the parts I was ordering). They were very competitively priced and only did the work that was required without any hidden fees.
Both Susie and Simon (the owners) are good, honest and up front indivduals which reassured this novice and if I have any further issues with my old car I wont hesitate to go back.

I'd used these guys before in the past but I do try to avoid them as they're prices are high and the mechanic is a very 'glass half full' type of person, which usually equates to over-diognising. I went in and spoke to the very friendly lady about getting a second opinion on a BMW diagnosis I wasn't completely happy with. BMW had charged me 120 to put my car into their computer to diagnose my misfire problem.
They advised me to replace all four injectors as one of them was faulty. So rather pay 1500 to replace them at BMW, I sought a second opinion from Highway motors. I'd explained to the lady this and I was hoping that maybe they could check the coils, plugs and possibly if it's just a cleaner needed and if not I'll be happy to get injectors replaced with them as I knew they would be cheaper than main dealer. Had quick word with mechanic and he seemed to understand my requests.
So I left the car with them. After couple of hours I received a call from the lady telling me that the mechanic had PLUGGED my car into the error machine and that the error shows up as faulty injector. She then for THE FIRST TIME IN OUR EXCHANGE stated that that diognosis will cost 76 and my car was ready to collect. I don't think I need to explain my frustrations.
Anyway I'm a very reasonable guy and explained that I especially mentioned that this procedure had been already done at BMW which cost me 120 and I was requiring a hands-on inspection to establish if there is another cause for the misfire. To make matters worse the mechanic seemed to have invented a whole new problem with my catalyst, advising me it also needed replacement.
I found this strange as BMW had passed this inspection. The mechanic didn't want to listen to this. He's a right inhaler and exhaler. Anyway I made arrangements to collect my car, paid the fee I was never warned about to do the same thing BMW did days prior. I agreed to bring my car in a week, once I order the parts and they were delivered. Upon driving away I noticed my car wasn't driving as well with loss of power.
I called the mechanic and explained to him that my car has lost power compared to how it was when I brought it in. Mechanic wasn't to interested in this and explained all he'd done is plug it into that wretched machine. Anyway I said if it continues I'll need to bring it back to them. He reluctantly accepted. Now the reason I feel it nessesary to write this review is after this conversation finished on the phone, I heard the mechanic begin to slag me off to his colleagues.
He didn't quite hang-up the phone properly and I could hear his true thoughts about my custom. So I took it elsewhere and saved myself a lot of money. I didn't get a call back from them despite booking my car in. They don't want to fix your car. They just want your money. If you take your car here be clear about what they will do and how much it will cost.

Don't go there.took my Nissan. They changed the chain and messed up the revs.revs went very high.kept taking it back and they couldn't fix it. Later found out mechanics were using my car for their own personal use without telling me. Took it to some proper mechanics who told me they damaged some wires hence the revs. They claimed to be Toyota and Nissan specialist at the time. Seriously recommend you go elsewhere. It was around 2010 or 11.blue Nissan Almera.2001year.
