McCreadie's is the progression of a long established family business tracing its roots back to the early 19th century. There have been McCreadie's in business on the same site as the current modern dealership stands since the early 1800s when the current managing director Ian McCreadie's ancestors ran a blacksmiths business.
At McCreadie's we are fully equipped to provide a complete aftersales solution for your Volkswagen Group vehicle. With factory trained technicians, the latest Volkswagen Group connected diagnostic systems and specialist tooling, and direct access to manufacturer technical information, we can carry out all tasks on your Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT or Skoda, including ECU software updates and security coding. We are also accredited to update the new Digital Service Schedules currently in use by Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Skoda.
We have teamed up with Celtic Tuning to offer engine performance and economy remapping for most cars and light commercial vehicles across Dumfries & Galloway and Southern Scotland. Celtic Tuning are specialists in the development of engine management software where they have a specialist team of graduate level software developers.
Our award winning petrol forecourt has been supplying fuel to the vehicles of Newton Stewart and surrounding area since approximately 1929, when we started selling fuel from Pratts Petroleum. We now supply high quality Gulf Unleaded and Diesel fuels as well as Calor gas, a full range of lubricants, and a wide range of car care, cleaning and detailing products and accessories. Our well stocked shop can also offer a great selection of groceries, sweets, ice cream, crisps, drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
