With a history stretching back to 1924 and the founding of our family business in Berriew near Welshpool, W R Davies has developed substantially to today operate 12 franchised dealerships across North Wales, Staffordshire, and Shropshire. Yet, despite the growth and changes witnessed over the passing decades, we remain true to the ideals upon which the company was founded all those years ago. These ideas all revolve around upholding the family values of the company which, since it's today run by the grandson of W R Davies, Jonathan Davies, is simple.

We came back about 3/4 weeks ago. Absolutely fantastic service from a gentleman called Gary. Couldn't believe how wonderful he treated us, we asked an assortment of questions about the vans and he helped us by answering all he could. His friendly and helpful approach was the best we have had at any place as we have been around a few garages looking for our perfect van. Would definitely recommend that gentleman to go to for any help with buying a vehicle from there. service doesn't justify Gary at all.

We recently picked up our new to us Dacia Duster Estate. The process from the beginning to the end was very easy. It was explained to us fully and Liam was very professional, polite and pleasant. We were highly impressed with the service given to us and would highly recommend anyone to use Dacia at WR Davies Ford Llandudno Junction

My wife recently purchased a nearly new car from this garage, she was kept updated frequently on what was being done to the car prior to collection of this vehicle, and the help given by the salesman Mr Jeremy Thomas was first class. Would definately recommend this garage and salesman to anyone wishing to purchase a car, all the staff we met were very pleasant and extremely helpfull, with the questions asked.

Five months on and nothing but trouble with W J Ford. No stamp in log book for service, I asked for it to be added and he couldn't find the record so just entered what he thought was likely to have been included in the service so no idea if it really was serviced. Was told the warranty was included in the purchase but it wasn't so paid for W J Ford service.
Multiple issues with car, cruise control clicks on randomly, driver side window, faulty handbrake, wiper water pump not working after car had been in to fix window which want completed. Wait time of 27 days to fix wiper water pump. Discussed purchase with Sales Manager back and was treated appallingly but he did apologize subsequently. Asked if they had checked to see if vehicle had been in an accident and they didn't know, surely that's the normal procedure for a dealer. Will be taking these complaints further due to the number of car faults and misinformation when purchased.

Just driven away a new top spec Ford Kuga PHEV from the Llandudno Junction showroom having ordered it back in June. Gary Kirkbride was an excellent sales person - dealt with all my queries and was honest about the expected lead time for the new car. He wasn't pushy and whilst explaining extras and options available didn't push them on any I declined.
Back in June I was having a test drive within half an hour of meeting Gary which I wish was the experience from other WR Davies showrooms. The Rhyl branch SALES team could take a few lessons from him imho as they strung me along week to week when I was ready to buy a new car but wanted to try a hybrid before making any decisions. I have dealt with WR Davies for many years now yet felt let down by the Rhyl branch.
If it wasn't for Gary then WR Davies would have lost a loyal customer. The only reason this review isn't 5stars is because they are the same company group - the experience in the Junction was 5stars - the experience of buying in Rhyl lets say a generous 2 on this occasion.

I have bought Two brand new Ford cars over the last three years and the service from sales was excellent each time. The salesman this time was Mr Michael Bradshaw excellent in sorting the sale out. I would also recommend service department for the service I received on my first car I bought from the same branch. FIVE STARS ALL ROUND I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND W R DAVIES FORD

Took delivery of my new Fiesta ST on Tuesday, extremely pleased with the car and equally with the attention, support and service afforded by the sales advisor Jeremy Thomas who throughout the purchase process kept me updated throughout. If all sales advisors at WR Davis are of the calibre of Jeremy then they can be assured of a very successful busines.

I had a very positive and productive experience purchasing my new Ford Kuga 3 from WR Davies Llandudno Junction, who I would highly recommend. Gary, the salesperson who sold me the car was very professional and knowledgeable. He also ensured that the car handover was "Covid-Safe", which was very reassuring. The whole experience was very efficient and enjoyable, with all prep having been undertaken, enabling me to pick up my new car, with everything in place, ready for me to enjoy my new Kuga driving experience. Very happy to award 5 Star service!

Edit: Contacted support as instructed in reply. No response. Purchased '11 Focus in April, car initially had a fair amount of cosmetic work needed. Not all panels had cosmetic fixes but staff were very kind and helpful throughout. 6 months later as the wet months kick in, a leak is discovered. Both the drivers and passenger side foot wells are flooding quite bad (might have been prior - but rubber matts had covered the foot wells to hide and weather hasn't been as bad).
Initially told this is covered by my 12 month warranty purchased with the car, I took it in for a service. Just before work started I had a call saying the warranty won't cover this and that I'd be charged but they would let me know if it's too much work. I mentioned the car had been purchased just 6 months ago, to which I was told they would take that in to account.
I phone up the same day to check on the work - apparently a common issue with the rear light leaking through. Told it stank of damp so likely been an issue for a while. Most of the work had been done and I could collect the next day - great! I'm given a 440 bill which got reduced to 340 after bringing up how recent I'd purchased the car. Really disappointed with this given it sounds like a manufacturers defect and likely something wrong with the car prior to purchase.
The staff have been very kind but this just felt like a tone deaf response for such a recent purchase and not so old car. I just hope now the leak doesn't return or I'll be having pot noodles for Christmas dinner.
