After their employee rushed me into buying my second hand car, reassuring me everything was ok. it turns out the brakes were over used already and the engine has a fault that made it stop suddenly right in the middle of the M25. Thank God I am safe, and the car is new enough for this to be covered by the insurance. I would not recommend buying cars here, they obviously have no idea of how to do a proper check on any car.

My Skoda had to go in for a recall last week. I needed to reschedule a couple of times, and James also rang me to say that if the fault was present in my car then it may take a while to get the car back, so offered me a loan car. In the event, there was no fault on my car, and they rang me within an hour to say that it was ready - it had also been washed and vacuumed when I went to collect it! Nothing has been too much trouble for CDG, and they have been proactive and accommodating every time I've dealt with them, both in person and over the phone.

CDG do have a great after sales support service. Their team is very good and I would highly recommend them if buying a new car. If any issues arise the team is very fast to deal with problems over the phone and book in for repair, even providing a courtesy car if needed. I have however had the bad luck of buying a used car which has a progressive fault which can not be repaired. That is the only reason CDG has received 3 and not 5 stars

After just moving to the area and looking around for a car service I found there were quite a few to choose from, my friend said try Crawley Down Group after hearing some good things. Everyone I spoke to at Crawley Down Group was polite and efficient and I had my car fixed and back to me in no time at all. It was even cleaned inside and out before being returned! A big thank you to the team.

It's not often I feel such a need to review a service received, but this is the third MOT I've taken my little SMART car to CDG and each time received such a good service that I wanted to tell others to use you. Not only did the little thing pass, but the car received a complimentary wash AND valet inside. The reason I wanted to really pass this on is because like most car owners I hate the thought of passing my vehicle to someone who offers a cheap MOT only to "invent" problems or work that aren't necessary only to charge me to carry out the work!. After 3 MOT's now I can safely say this is one garage that doesn't do this and believe me TRUST is a huge thing to get from me!

I have been waiting for a new key card it was supposed to be 5 working day it is now day 8 and it has not turned up. I am having to hire a car which cost a lot of money. That staff don't seem to give a toss. Perhaps if the Key card were fit for pursuer we wouldn't be having this problem! Don't use them

I purchased a 2010 Renault Megane cabriolet in August 14 under 6 months warranty. There were agreed parts to be replace/rectified in addition to the car allegedly being serviced and given 1 year MOT but after several requests I did not receive a Service Report nor MOT Certificate and eventually went to the Sales Office where my original salesman completed a MOT Certificate.
Before purchasing the car it was agreed that the bonnet catch wasn't working properly. I called and left a couple of messages for the salesman to return my call but I was ignored. The most frustrating part is not have returned calls. Giving the salesman the benefit of the doubt, one would expect members of staff would check messages when others are away from their desks, but this has happened many times.
The bonnet catch eventually broke and when a friend brought the car to be repaired he was told it cannot be repaired under warranty as I had day lights fitted and paid 90. Subsequently in order to get into the bonnet your mechanic pulled and broke the front vent to reach the bonnet from inside and my friend was incorrectly told the mechanic had to to take the front bumper off and it was not rectified and is now loose.
I have had the car checked over by an independent mechanic who is providing me with a Report but I was informed the disc brakes were very worn and should not have passed the MOT. There are other faults with the car which should have been rectified before my collecting the car. I have received very poor after sales service and am extremely dissatisfied with this situation.

Terrible company. Stay away from these cowboys They were very fast to sell me a faulty second hand car with an extended warranty. I took it to their garage the same week I bought it to warn them that its faulty due to the extreme squeaking. They had a look at it and claimed everything is fine. Turns out the squealing is due to faulty callipers seizing up and they will not fix it. Even though they sold it faulty. The extended warranty apparently does not cover callipers and they sent me away. Do not touch crawley down group with a barge pole.

Took my car in to fix one fault, they identified another - quoted 400. Job eventually ended up costing me 2500 and original fault wasn't identified or fixed. So car still doesn't run. Staff were polite, but said they would do stuff that they subsequently didn't do (multiple times). Also. REALLY expensive (100/hour).
