I was visiting the area and happened upon Mercedes-Benz of Boston. Although I had looked at various other Mercedes cars locally to my home ( Norwich area) I hadn't committed to buying. However, sat there on their forecourt was a top of the range A200d.
I spoke to the sales person, Calum and within 10 minutes I had bought it. I was not pressured in any way and I found Calum very personable and pleasant to do business with. I collected the car at a later date with Calum meeting me at the rail station to collect me.
All in all, I was extremely happy having dealt with a very professional company.

I've had VW for 20 years and own a number of VW (some brought from listers), just spoken to a brand manage for VW Lister and was less than helpful, so much so put the phone down on me. Lister why are you putting your servicing prices up and now charging for collection and delivery? in these times you need to be competitive not pricing yourself out of the market.

My review: Visited the branch in Shirley today as I was very interested in a used car they had advertised for my partner. Found the car and was hoping we could look inside and around the car. Me and partner were not approached outside (even some other people that turned up after us were approached) so we went inside to see if we could find someone to help us.
We were ignored by 2 people before I asked someone if we could look inside the car. We were questioned about how we would buy the car and I said that we would be looking to trade in a car, we found the guy very uninterested in us and was tutting at some of our replies, I was shocked. He told us to take a seat and he would be with us in a minute, he went over to another sales person and had a chat/laugh with them before disappearing and not coming back.
We both felt very uncomfortable from the conversation that we had and being left for 15 minutes. After driving an hour to see the car I was very disappointed to be treated this way and in the end we left. I feel me and my partner may have been judged that we could not afford the car or at least that is how it seemed. I had 5,000 deposit and the car was 15k.
Totally unprofessional And left me feeling annoyed and angry. They were looking down their noses at me, laughing at me and my girlfriends expense, totally unacceptable, the ironic thing is I probably earn more than these unprofessional clowns do. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never visit Listers again both personally or for my business. I would avoid wasting your time at this and maybe all listers sites.

Bought a yaris, instead of being told this is what the range starts at, they asked my wife how much we can afford, she replied 200 they then went for the dearest model at that price 214 a month. We recently had a 40k service charged a ridiculous 325, 1 bulb had gone they charged a 1. Then told air con not working properly after 2 years from new!. that would be another 89. Between us and late father in law weve had around 8 new cars from listers. Absolutely disgusted there all about profit not customer care!.

Very disappointed with both Grantham and Lincoln dealerships. I made an appointment to see a salesperson and vehicle at the Grantham Dealership last Friday but after leaving work early to view the vehicle both the salesperson and the vehicles were not there. The vehicle apparently was away at the body shop being repaired after someone damaged it. I would have at least expected a call to rearrange the viewing to save me travelling and leaving work early.
I asked the sale manger to get the sale person to call me back.still waiting. Very disappointing. Second incident was on Saturday when my mate called in at the Lincoln dealership to look at a Hilux on the forecourt. No one came out to see him and when he did go in to the shop it took another 10 minutes but only after he stood in front of the receptionist, who also ignored him to start with.
She then got a young lad to go out with my mate but he knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle he was viewing. He will now be buying his Hilux elsewhere. Am not saying he was ignored because he has lots of tattoo's but it does make you wonder. It seems to me that Listers obviously do not need to sell vehicles at the moment. Would not recommend them to any of my mates.

I purchased a car from Listers that I had sourced online recently I subsequently picked it up and when I arrived home -some 100 miles away- I noticed some damage to the dashboard - I emailed the salesperson Angelina who had very pleasantly dealt with me - and she immediately got authority to repair the damage and when it had been skilfully repaired and after I had sent evidence of the receipt I was paid in full within 24 hours Excellent customer care throughout the whole process- Thank you and well done! I would buy another car from Listers Honda without hesitation

We drove up from London, and happy with the service we received. Richard was great, although he had another appointment and was running late, he was great. Accommodating and made sure we were satisfied with everything. He even went as far putting bottles of water for us, since we had a long drive back. As for car, Dad is happy, so I am happy. It was the trip up. Thank you guys.

Recently purchased a used Mercedes from here. Very impressed with the service, I wasn't pressured or rushed and got a deal I was very satisfied with. They took my vehicle in part exchange and provided me a very affordable finance deal. The follow up has been excellent since and nothing has been too much trouble. In nearly 20 years of motoring, this has most definitely been my best experience of buying a car. I would definitely recommend them. We have had outstanding service from Listers in Boston from start to finish. Everything was plain sailing due to Liam Hawkins who I can’t thank enough and he made everything so easy for us and nothing was to much trouble. We picked up our brand new car yesterday, it’s an absolute dream to drive and is beautiful. Although it may take a while for us to get our heads around all the technology lol.
Can’t rate you all high enough and will definitely recommend Listers in Boston to everyone.

Did not take too kindly to being “sold” a whole range of add on insurances and being met with total surprise/shock that I was not interested. Would definitely recommend the Boston operation as it was far better than our local Mercedes garage and was well set up for distance selling.

I am very surprised to read a few negative comments on Mercedes Boston. I am very glad to say the service, customer dedication and willing to go "the extra mile" for customers has been exceptional. I have 2 cars still under warranty with them and just the other day I could not get in to one of them when the remote control wasn't working. They were prepared to send someone out within the hour as I had to get to London for a meeting.
As it happened I managed to eventually get in to the car so it wasn't necessary for someone to come out. I would particularly like to commend Grant in the Service department for an exceptionally positive attitude and a willingness to resolve all issues to the customer's satisfaction. If only we had more people like that in the UK with such customer service skills. Thanks

I brought my C class from here, i drove 2 hours as this car is a dream car for us when we arrive we noticed it had a big scratch on the wing mirror, i was reassured by Richard that my local dealership will sort it for me. I asked for the car to be registered into my name, when i recived the paper work it was actually in my partners. They said it was the admin faults for not looking at the paper work.
They did say they would send off the paperwork to DVLA but it was to much hassle and stress.
Ron from the bodywork shop came all the way to my home address to fit a new wing mirror two days in a row so thank you very much Ron i am very grateful. I emailed Richard as there was a mis communication when arranging Ron to come down but i never heard back from him. Overall if i never had no issue with my wing mirror then it would of ran smoothly, Richard was there when i need to contact him and i got the perfect car.
