I've had VW for 20 years and own a number of VW (some brought from listers), just spoken to a brand manage for VW Lister and was less than helpful, so much so put the phone down on me. Lister why are you putting your servicing prices up and now charging for collection and delivery? in these times you need to be competitive not pricing yourself out of the market.

**DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!** Following on from my 3 year old Range Rover Sport's engine needing a replacement I thought best to send it to the garage that had serviced it beforehand, Lister's Jaguar Land Rover Droitwich. They had serviced the car 3 times prior and had signed it off 6 months before the indecent as operating normally. Clearly the car wasn't checked over correctly as 6 months down the line one of the con-rods snapped leading to catastrophic engine damage with no fault of my own.
The garage took no responsibility for the damage and I was billed 12,800 for the replacement which wasn't covered by any kind of warranty. at the time I wasn't even provided a courtesy car for the inconvenience. The engine was replaced, paid for and I collected the car. THIS IS WHEN IT GOT WORSE. The car was clearly not tested after the replacement.
As I left the garage I had a red cooling system warning on the dash and a service light pop up so called the garage straight away to get advice, "should I bring it back?". I was flippantly told by Laura Webb, a non mechanic, that they were now closed and unwilling to help. "It will be fine for the journey" (1.5 hours) and advised to simply top the coolant up when I get home.
Half way home I broke down with smoke poring out of the bonnet and the car warned that it was over heating dramatically leading to me having to abandon the car on the A45 and wait hours for recovery. FURIOUS I had also ruined a 250 pair of shoes in the meantime which the manager, Toni Mawi, had promised to replace in a meeting but later retracted the offer as soon as I was off site. at the time i was also told (BY HIM) he'd only been there 3 weeks and he was still getting used to his job. CLEARLY!
Another story I was told by Toni Mawi (the Manager) was that one of their engineers, while I was on-site, had crashed one range rover into another that were both in for servicing leading to an ambulance having to be called and two customers, also in the dealership in the time, having to be told they'd totalled their cars. They agreed to take the car back to look over it, actually test it this time and return it in a week.
Upon picking up the car It was two days before. IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN (for a third time). All electrics failed and I quickly realised the only way of making the electrics come back online was by slamming the bonnet! I spoke with Listers Droitwich AGAIN, they picked up the car AGAIN and they tested it for a week to ensure they found the issue. The only answer that they could provide was that they couldn't find an issue with the car and that they replaced the battery "just encase". that I needed to collect the car. - What kind of "Master Technician" firstly cant find whats causing a problem but then replaces parts just encase its faulty? - TEST IT!
Following on from collecting the car I then had a frankly rude and threatening email from Laura Webb (in customer services) advising that i would need to be charged to clean the courtesy car they provided me with, the last time it went in, because it was returned dirty. - I had given them nearly 13,000 at this point! I can only describe this dealer as incompetent, insincere money grabbers who have 0 focus on customer service.
I would highly recommend not dealing with Listers JLR Droitwich. I'm now left wondering, after spending 12,800, if my car is in fact fixed, if it will break down again in a few days time and (if it does) will the people responsible (Listers) be in a position to fix it?! **DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!**

My review: Visited the branch in Shirley today as I was very interested in a used car they had advertised for my partner. Found the car and was hoping we could look inside and around the car. Me and partner were not approached outside (even some other people that turned up after us were approached) so we went inside to see if we could find someone to help us.
We were ignored by 2 people before I asked someone if we could look inside the car. We were questioned about how we would buy the car and I said that we would be looking to trade in a car, we found the guy very uninterested in us and was tutting at some of our replies, I was shocked. He told us to take a seat and he would be with us in a minute, he went over to another sales person and had a chat/laugh with them before disappearing and not coming back.
We both felt very uncomfortable from the conversation that we had and being left for 15 minutes. After driving an hour to see the car I was very disappointed to be treated this way and in the end we left. I feel me and my partner may have been judged that we could not afford the car or at least that is how it seemed. I had 5,000 deposit and the car was 15k.
Totally unprofessional And left me feeling annoyed and angry. They were looking down their noses at me, laughing at me and my girlfriends expense, totally unacceptable, the ironic thing is I probably earn more than these unprofessional clowns do. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never visit Listers again both personally or for my business. I would avoid wasting your time at this and maybe all listers sites.

Bought a yaris, instead of being told this is what the range starts at, they asked my wife how much we can afford, she replied 200 they then went for the dearest model at that price 214 a month. We recently had a 40k service charged a ridiculous 325, 1 bulb had gone they charged a 1. Then told air con not working properly after 2 years from new!. that would be another 89. Between us and late father in law weve had around 8 new cars from listers. Absolutely disgusted there all about profit not customer care!.

Very disappointed with both Grantham and Lincoln dealerships. I made an appointment to see a salesperson and vehicle at the Grantham Dealership last Friday but after leaving work early to view the vehicle both the salesperson and the vehicles were not there. The vehicle apparently was away at the body shop being repaired after someone damaged it. I would have at least expected a call to rearrange the viewing to save me travelling and leaving work early.
I asked the sale manger to get the sale person to call me back.still waiting. Very disappointing. Second incident was on Saturday when my mate called in at the Lincoln dealership to look at a Hilux on the forecourt. No one came out to see him and when he did go in to the shop it took another 10 minutes but only after he stood in front of the receptionist, who also ignored him to start with.
She then got a young lad to go out with my mate but he knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle he was viewing. He will now be buying his Hilux elsewhere. Am not saying he was ignored because he has lots of tattoo's but it does make you wonder. It seems to me that Listers obviously do not need to sell vehicles at the moment. Would not recommend them to any of my mates.

Prior to today, my mother and father bought all their business and personal cars through Listers and recommended them highly. Today, we witnessed the degrading treatment of a family who had the audacity to cancel their purchase because of a terminal cancer diagnosis. The way they were spoken to was rude, offhand and degrading. Plus no return of their deposit.

I purchased a car from Listers that I had sourced online recently I subsequently picked it up and when I arrived home -some 100 miles away- I noticed some damage to the dashboard - I emailed the salesperson Angelina who had very pleasantly dealt with me - and she immediately got authority to repair the damage and when it had been skilfully repaired and after I had sent evidence of the receipt I was paid in full within 24 hours Excellent customer care throughout the whole process- Thank you and well done! I would buy another car from Listers Honda without hesitation

Listers van centre are fantastic, I’ve just bought my 2nd amorak pickup off them and I live 200 miles away, straight forward to deal with no problems at all, sales man Nick Pattison is a real asset to your business, couldn’t recommend them enough and will hopefully be back in 4 years time for my 3rd pickup. Also anyone thinking of buying a pickup, definitely the v6 3ltr what an amazing drive, over the moon with it.

Just want to thank all at Listers in Coventry again, especially Justin this time, for pulling out all the stops, beyond the call of duty, to get me back on the road after my Caddy Maxi Life got written off in a no fault accident last week. Time scale is very tight but fingers crossed. Have known you guys since my first panel van (L reg!) and you have not stopped to amaze in both service and sales and the lovely Louise at the desk.

What can I say! Excellent service provided by Gavin King. I live some 400miles from the dealer and the whole process was made seamless to ensure that I was on my way as soon as possible. The upside was that I had a 400mile test drive home and as expected, the car drove brillianty! Great service from great people!
