Excellent selection of traditional menswear - but expensive!

One of last retailers serving the discerning male customer. Bournemouth, now a student town, had fallen a long way even before the pandemic. I can only hope that this establishment can continue, whilst families holiday elsewhere and professional people move out of town. Like our friends and family, we moved, but still make the effort to shop here.

Excellent friendly service with a comprehensive range of clothing. From shirts to jeans and a leather jacket, I have always been impressed with my purchase. First visit was for a baseball cap many years ago, because of the friendly, respectful service I am now a regular visitor. First class customer service every visit.

Even though I'm not buying for myself, the knowledge and helpful service is (in my opinion) unmatched. As a female shopping in a men's clothing store, I've never felt so welcome. All the highest quality menswear from a range of designers in one place - a must-visit for those who enjoy optimal quality and a proper service experience.

Luxury bespoke fashion for men. A family run business dating back to early 20th century. You can get fitted for your own suit and shoes. Or, you can dip into the other high end brands. Zegna to Ralph Lauren etc.

Bought a new pair of Crockett and Jones Islay boots. Shipped to the USA for cheap and it only took 3 days! With the euro and USD so close to each other it makes sense to go for the finest in quality. Will buy again from Robert Old!

Fantastic service! My husband's family met Michael through cricket over 40 years ago and they have been using the outfitters ever since. The other day we were privileged to have been served by Michael Old himself and his experience and knowledge was evident in his attention to detail. Michael is very charming and nothing is a problem. His personal service ethos has rubbed off on to the team as well.

When I am on the telephone to them, It does not take them long to realise who is on the other end of the line, which is indeed impressive! Where can you get that standard of the care these days? I once saw him surrounded by people on the fashionable 'Bond Street', London, who were no doubt his customers, which confirms his worldwide standing. Well done to Michael and all at Robert Old.

Kieran helped me buy a tailored suit for my wedding. Very helpful the whole way through, great tips and advice during the initial consultation to choose all the options. He picked up on and worked with my own style and preferences very quickly without me needing to say much which really helped. There was no hard sell to choose anything particular, just help to create exactly what I wanted. The finished product is great too, fits perfectly and looks amazing!

When it came to my wedding suit - I knew I wanted the absolute best and that's why I went to Robert Old. More to the point, Kieran at Robert Old. Kieran was a guiding light throughout the whole process - from the first phone call to arrange a meeting back in March, to the inception of my beautiful suit right through to picking it up days before my. wedding on the weekend of 13th & 14th August 2016. Kieran made every decision process as easy as possible.

It was a simple and enjoyable time designing my suit and having fittings. Even running ideas past Kieran for his opinion on accessories etc was no chose for him! On the day I felt at ease as my suit was doing everything we had designed it to and more, I felt comfortable and confident and I can't thank Kieran and all at Robert Old enough! I cannot recommend Robert Old & Kieran enough for all your tailoring needs!

Asked for the delivery time of a pair of C&J boots and got a quick answer from the lady in the customer service that she already spoken to C&J factory and that my boots were in stock. After a short email conversation and 2 days waiting for the boots to be in stock at the online store i placed my order and then it took about 3 days to get them to Sweden. Great service!
