Purchasing a car without viewing it, has always been ill advised, handing over money upfront, to a business you have no knowledge of comes with risks.however we did both of the above.and I have to say, we wernt dissapointed or let down in anyway. The vehicle was pretty much as described, in excellent condition, it was delivered on time, communication was first class.a massive thank you to Alan, Ben and Roy, for getting this vehicle to the other side of the country in a timely manner. Ben was fantastic very informative when I was looking for an Elgrand. A mechanic friend reccomended these guys as he had dealt with them and they have certainly delivered on everything and more. Let's face it going to a used car dealership is going to put the fear of God into most rational human beings. Parting with your hard earned money fro a vehicle you know nothing about will petrify almost all of us as we are in the hands of the dealer. Just wanted to share my fantastic buying experience from Alan, these guys are the most genuine dealership I've ever experienced & no I'm not a relative or distant friend recently purchased a Range Rover sport they kept it for me for first viewing/ refusal I had two minor issues which they happily resolved for myself & wouldn't hesitate to purchase from again.

What a fantastic business, no pressure sales they let you make your own mind up in your own time. Top graded cars with low miles and all in excellent condition. Polite, friendly and great knowledge of the market with fair prices. Car come serviced, any things that needed doing were done. I cant recommend a dealers more highly, there a lot of bad eggs out there but these guys make a tremendous effort and statment that there are good ones as well. Many thanks for everything.

The level of customer service was outstanding. honesty, integrity and going the extra mile is what you get. Alan and Ben make sure your getting every penny's worth from your purchase and this is what a family business is clearly about. If it were possible to give more stars I would! This is the second Elgrand I have purchased from County Cars (after the wife wrote off our first one in an accident!). During the 2 years we had the first car - Alan and Ben provided an after sales customer service that was above and beyond what anyone could expect in terms of sourcing parts and dealing with other normal runnning issues.

In the past 2 weeks they were instrumental in getting us the best possible payout from our insurance company. This time I travelled from the North of Scotland to Kent to buy the second Elgrand and all three cars that I had expressed an interest in were prepared in advance and ready to go as soon as I made my choice. Exceptional service, and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to any future potential buyer.

Ask any question and you will get a straight and honest answer. If you are contemplating your first import - then look no further and hesitate no longer - we took the leap of faith 2 years ago and would not look back. These vehicles are really great value for money and they are buiult to last.

Bought sight unseen from Ben and have not been disappointed. He arranged delivery and everything went like clockwork. I have had these grey imports before and knew what to expect. Really great value for money vehicles. My last car was a Suburu Forester which I bought from a local Suburu dealer -Maple Leaf of Daventry. - who couldn't have cared less after selling the vehicle. Plenty of problems that I realised I didn't have with a grey import. Happy to be back with a reliable vehicle and more than happy to recommend County Cars.

I've found Ben and Alan to be 100% honest and up front. In the used import car business there are way more dodgey people than honest ones. County Cars are one of the good guys.

Never again! Sold me a faulty car, very threatening and very rude, no customer service and not to be trusted. and after 5 visits and 3 months I still own a faulty car! Be very wary of the positive feed back below, a lot of which was left by wives and employees of county cars

We've just bought a Toyota Alphard from County Cars of Strood.Wow! what a great car and what great service from everyone we dealt with.We live in Norfolk and travelled down to Kent 2 or 3 times before we made up our minds what car to buy.We were left to look at the cars without being pressured but staff were on hand to answer any questions we may have had and were very friendly and very helpful.We took a couple out for a test drive accompanied by Roy who was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that we had.Having decided to buy our new pride and joy we dealt with the owners(father and son) Alan and Ben who were equally as friendly and helpful and who went above and beyond the normal service you would expect from any dealers, to make sure we had our car in time to take it away with us on our holiday.We couldn't be more happy from start to finish with the service we received.A real credit to the second hand car industry.

I bought a car from this father and son car dealer about a year ago. There were a couple of little niggles that later came to light, but Alan and Ben were quick to sort these out without any fuss. The buying process was completely stress-free, there was zero pressure and none of the usual b-s associated with buying a cheap second hand car. I cannot rate these guys highly enough. They'll even make you a decent mug of tea while you browse.
