Another fantastic experience. Dropped my car off at approximately 1100hrs to investigate some knocking coming from the near side front. Investigated, repaired, Road tested and collected by 1430hrs. No charge either. Girls on the desk are friendly and helpful, mechanics are upfront and honest. Just a decent honest garage. Thank you again. Enjoy the chocolates!

I used Lavender motors to swap my summer tyres over to winters. They did an excellent job; the new winter tyres were perfectly balanced and fitted in the timescales they said. As I wanted to keep the old summer tyres they kindly loaded them into the boot. Would definitely use Lavender Motors again! Service: Tires

Whilst waiting for my son to return from his hospital appointment, I sat in my car and unfortunately drained the battery with engine off and radio on etc. I called Lavender Motors out and they were with me straightaway. Within seconds my car was back up and running with no expense taken. That is a supreme service! Thank you very much, this is one garage to highly recommend!

Great company. recently had my car in for repair as they are a RAC approved repairer for my warranty. even though my warranty covered the majority of the works, the price was very reasonable for the works completed. The reception staff deserve a mention, Both lady's are friendly, helpful and polite. i was given a curtesy car as the work took place on mine.
If i was to be picky, not the best car. but its a car that worked and was clean. I would have given 5* without doubt but for one thing that had annoyed me. i keep a towel on the drivers side floor mat to keep the carpets clean in the winter. this had been picked off the floor and put on the passenger seat without shaking off the dry mud first. leaving a trail of dry mud and dust over the seats and centre console.
Yes i know not the end of the world. but annoying to collect the car and have to clean it. but without hesitation i would recommend this garage and happily return to use again in the future.

Took the car in with a headlight malfunction warning light. I informed them it was believed to be a faulty headlight height sensor and this was confirmed during diagnostics which cost around 100 not sure of the exact price but certainly wasn't free like I've seen in other reviews. I booked the car in to have the work completed but was quickly told that the part was special order and that I would have to pay approximately 270 upfront which I did.
The car was taken to the garage and I was told around three hours later that not all the parts had been delivered by Ford (and this was Fords mistake) but that the rivets were missing and they would require the car to now stay in over night but I was assured the part was being delivered early the next morning and the car would have the rivets fitted and a test drive completed and be completed for collection early the next morning as the work would not take long.
At 13.00 the following day I contacted the garage and was told that the parts 'had only just arrived' (which seemed convenient) and the work had not been done. I did not receive a phone call to inform me of the delays and have still not received my car back as of approaching 15.00pm the following day. The communication and timescale for the work has been poor in my opinion and far below the standard I would expect at any garage.
Being a local resident I thought I would prefer to go to my closest garage given the work local businesses had lost during the pandemic. Perhaps this was my mistake and a mainstream garage could have completed the work more efficiently. Given the work is still not complete I am hoping the work has At least been completed to a good standard and will edit the review upon finding out. Edit - Upon collecting the car the girl working on reception was extremely apologetic and maintained that Ford have been sporadic with their delivery times.
The garage have offered to waive the remaining money owed which was approximately 100 which is appreciated due to the inconvenience experienced and therefore the garage has to receive some credit for their approach at resolving the issue.

Rip off! Having used my both cars at this garage, I am not using it anymore. I booked a major service on telephone, told by Luke it will cost £310 and the only additional payment will be for any necessary items. About 4 hours after I left the car for the service at the garage, received a telephone call from the same guy telling me that the car "also needs 4 wheel alignment and break fluid change".
According to their website, it costs £144. So, the overall agreed final charge should be £454.
Came to collect the car one hour ago and was given a bill for... £543.80. Almost £100 more than agreed. Having asked at reception why is the overcharge, been told that oh! that was plus VAT and, read this, because I spoke to the garage on telephone (not ordered on website) it is now more expensive. Now, this explanation is ridiculous!
They themselves called me on telephone and now they overcharge me purportedly for their own call. You can't make it up.
Further, I gave them £500 in cash and paid the rest £43.80 with my card. They refused to give receipt for the £500 telling me porky pies that the receipt is my invoice for £543.80. Surely, they know that invoice and receipt are two different things - while an invoice is a request for payment, a receipt is the proof of payment, which they refused to give me.
Not a professional behaviour for the business, especially towards a customer who is using their garage more than once.

MOT and service done ok but was expensive, little communication and charged 45 for a diagnostic of a simple repair (they didn't tell me they would charge for this and really it should be part of the service cost). I have been to this garage several times and was happy the first few times but this is the second time in a row where I feel I have been overcharged. A shame really as they are really responsive and will eventually get the job done but lost trust in them. Sometimes a bit of goodwill goes a long way.

Fab service today and yesterday! After buying a new car on Saturday and then hearing a clonking noise I took my car into lavender motors. They were super busy but squeezed me in within 5 minutes and even gave me a lift home as I had to pick my daughter up from school! They diagnosed the problem straight away (it was quite severe) and fixed the car today! Fab service all round and affordable! Thank you!

Me and my boyfriend received the most amazing service here today I couldn't be more thankful to them, went out of their way to help us get a wheel for the car and even picked one up for us so we didn't have to keep walking everywhere and the most loveliest man even gave us a lift to the train station so we could get home to Brighton. So glad we happened to pop in here! Would recommend to everyone, just wish we lived closer to them.
