Christian Lyne established Top Notch Cars in Thetford after moving from smaller premises in Bury St Edmunds.The business is predominantly run by Christian who is supported by his experienced and friendly sales and servicing staff. Christian has a passion for cars both in his personal and business life. His background in the car industry ranges from introductory level vehicle sales right up to general manager. Through this career he has been able to gain valuable experience in retail, sales, customer service satisfaction and car valuations.
The used cars that we sell are all hand picked by our experienced team at Top Notch Cars. We choose cars that have been well looked after and maintained by the previous owners and we offer all of our customers a 3 month, 3000 mile warranty when they purchase a second hand car from us.
If you purchase a car from us and there is a problem within 3 months or 3000 miles and the item is covered within our policy, it will get repaired by our mechanics with no questions asked.

Had been looking for a certain car for about 4 months, saw one advertised at Top Notch Cars, rang Christian, arranged a viewing the same afternoon. Left to view the car with no hassle or pressure. Took the car for a test drive and did the deal. During the period of doing the deal and collecting the car, Christian notified me that the reversing camera was not working correctly. He ordered a genuine part, and two weeks later came to my place of work to fit it. Great experience and would highly recommend. I also love the car.

The car was in great condition and had it inspected afterwards with no issues. Took my car in as part exchange at an acceptable price. We bought our most recent vehicle from Christian after finding it on Top Notch Cars eBay shop. The purchase was hassle free and completed within an hour, the car was then prepared over the course of the next week and had all outstanding work completed. This included the repair of some minor faults picked up during the vehicles preparation. On Saturday 3rd June 2016, I bought my 2012 Ford Focus Estate from Top Notch Cars for 6590. We hadn't called ahead when we went to see the car on the previous day. Sadly, the car was being valeted at a nearby cleaner, so we thought we would not be able to see it, however Christian, the owner of Top Notch Cars, offered to take us to see the car in his car.
When we arrived, he allowed us to look around the car without the normal awkward hovering of the owner you often get when buying a car. After a while, he came over to offer my husband and I a test drive of the car. Due to the unfortunately bad weather that day, I left mud on the car floor as the old car mats had been removed while the car was being cleaned, when we picked the car up the next day all the mud was gone.
When we viewed the car we noticed a slight issue with the back bumper, we mentioned this to Christian and later when we were home he called to explain what the problem was and to tell us it had been fixed and sure enough when we picked up the car it was also sorted, I was surprised and impressed to find new car mats and a cleaning kit in the car. I understand the cars are handpicked by the owner Christian and he certainly has a keen eye for the best.
All the staff we encountered at Top Notch Cars were polite and a pleasure to talk to and you get the feeling they are an informed good working team. When we went to get the car I mentioned about testing the air con worked ok and before I had finished saying about the air con, Christian had started the car and was checking the air con for us. They have a wonderful after sale service as we weren't sure about the security code for the radio, so we asked about it after we had bought the car.
They called up the Ford dealer, to check the situation on the radio, turns out its programmed for the car and so there is no security code required when the battery is disconnected when it is serviced. Honda CR-V Bought 01/08/2015 Price 2,499 This Vehicle looked in very good condition for its age. It was exactly the type of car we were looking for and although at first I was a bit apprehensive as it was a lot bigger than I am used to I have found it a pleasure to drive. I bought a 2011 Astra diesel with stop start in 2014 for 6000. The car was spotless inside and out even the engine was clean. The staff were very friendly and did not push the sale and i was given a fair price for my old car. The staff answered all my questions and queries and I had all the paperwork done in 20 minutes. I recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a good quality used car.

I purchased an 2010 Audi A4 Estate in January 2014 for 11,000. It was in good condition with a few scratches and stone chips but what you would expect for a car that had done 83,000 miles. Nearly 7 months later, I have not had a problem with the car. Staff were friendly and there was no hassle to purchase, very relaxed atmosphere. I would look at cars available to buy from Top Notch again in the future.
