I recently took my 911 GB Edition into Charles Ivey Specialist Cars with a non active front spoiler issue. From the outset, the communication was excellent, once the diagnostics had been run and the findings explained, the whole team could not have been more attentive to detail and all showing an effortless ability to deliver their knowledge and technical abilities to such a high standard of professionalism, Genaro, Mark & Daniel, thank you for exceeding expectations!

I have used Charles Ivey for many years because I have always found them knowledgeable, efficient, communicative and friendly. In short: good service. Ivey have looked after my Porsches since I got my first, in 2005. The company has a long and distinguished history (coming from racing origins) and so are more than able to do anything from changing a tyre to substantial engineering work.

I am happy to strongly recommend Charles Ivey - and it speaks for itself that when they moved from Putney, although much less convenient for me I followed them to their new Surbiton garage on account of the excellent service they have consistently provided to me.

We take our 15 year old Porsche Boxster to Charles Ivey every year for a service and are absolutely delighted with the service they provide. Yesterday we left Kingston to go away for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday and the car started to make a terrible grinding noise about 3 minutes from the garage. We drove straight into the garage where Dan (one of the mechanics) was just about to have his lunch break.

We told him what was wrong and he immediately asked his colleague to look after his lunch and took the car for a drive. He then brought it back to the garage to put it on the ramp to have a look at it more closely. He concluded it was probably a stone that had got stuck. We were absolutely delighted with Dan and the superb service he provided, and thank him very much for giving up his lunch break to help us.

Daniel at Charles Ivey took responsibility for updating my Porsche Boxster race car over this winter ready for the 2022 season. This involved engine out and top-end rebuild, also updating clutch flywheel and installing a LSD, new exhaust system, new seat, fire system and generally ensuring the car is ready to win again next season. At every step, Daniel provided feedback with photos and costings for the work (which he stuck to). I recommend Charles Ivey for race car preparation work and am confident in all they have done.

Couldn't recommend this team high enough. Mark Gennaro and Dan understood me as a customer, looked after my requirements and fixed the car as stated on time. They went way and beyond what I could have ever have imagined. This is a one stop shop! The best service with quality workmanship. I gave a 5 Star but that still isn't enough! Thank you guys I will be back for MOT and next service!

Arranged to a have my car serviced, sun roof seal fixed and a few other bits done. Mark arranged for my car to be collected and dropped off, called to update on progress and my bill was half what I was expecting. Charles Ivey are one of those rare businesses that care as much about their art as they do about their customers. Thank you Mark

Visited the showroom "on spec" on 24th July 2021. I was just wanting to take some photos of the exterior of the building because of my interest in Cooper Cars (the building was John Cooper's factory and showroom previously). I asked if I could park on the forecourt as there was little parking nearby and was met by Gennaro who not only allowed me to park on the forecourt but gave my wife and I a guided tour of the building and described much of it's history to us.

The building retains much original content and I can't thank Gennaro enough for taking time out of his schedule to show us around. They had some great Porsches in the showroom too!

I started out trying to find a Boxster 987S. But after looking at several, I found a 2005 987 Boxster 2.7 at Charles Ivey Specialist Cars, and I decided to take a friend to take a closer look. When we arrived, Genaro at CISC talked me through the car, and I must say it did look fantastic! He showed me all the OPC service receipts (all present and correct) plus additional recipes for further maintenance jobs.

He then handed me the keys and pointed to the A3 - which was literally 2 mins from them in Surbiton. After a wonderful blast in the sunshine, I drove to Cobham and back with the hood down, eventually returning to the garage with a big grin, ready to do the deal then and there! After a polite haggle, Genaro generously agreed to a small price reduction, and after I paid a deposit, he promised to give the car a check over, a service, plus get it through its MOT within the week.

When I arrived a week later the car was out on the forecourt looking absolutely gorgeous and ready to go. Genaro explained that they had decided to replace all four tyres with brand new Pirelli P7s, and they had also fitted a new clutch and a new set of brake pads - all because they felt he car needed them! Now thats what I call going "above and beyond"!

I have to say I am over the moon with the car, and I couldn't be happier with the knowledgable, generous and courteous reception I received at Charles Ivey Specialist Cars. They have specialised in Porsche since the early 70s and this expertise really shines through! I look forward to returning to CISC when the Boxster is due for its next service.

After several recommendations from various Porsche owner forums I decided to take my Cayenne there for its first major service. Having just purchased the car I asked them to advise on any repairs/parts needed. The list was detailed and reasonably priced. My OCD meant we exchanged several emails, all of which were answered. They even called me several times for updates which is a first as I've always had to chase any dealership/workshop I've taken my car to previously. Had not used Charles Ivey for years. Went back with the same 944 S2 Cabriolet they had serviced aeons ago in Putney Bridge. Was welcomed like the long lost prodigal. They did a superb job bringing it up to scratch and carried out a particularly skilled exhaust repair. The car is a long term favourite - acquired in 2006 - and will benefit from the return to the Charles Ivey family. Great professionals to deal with - and friendly, too.
