Without doubt the best experience I've ever had when buying/selling a car. They gave me a great price for my car and the whole experience was very easy and super professional. I had the added hassle of wanting to keep my private plate and wanting it transferring to my new car. Usually a hassle and time consuming but James sorted everything out for me. Faultless from start to finish. I had never heard of FA Roper before someone on one of the forums pointed me to a 911 Turbo they had advertised. A quick search showed that they are a long-standing, respected family business going back generations. I arranged to see the car and immediately walking in to the showroom had a gut feeling that these were genuine, honest, open guys - "you buy the person as much as the goods".

The car itself was immaculate, full history, a couple of compromises, but offset by the superb condition and low mileage. The story doesn't end there though - a week later picking it up with my wife, I managed for some inexplicable reason to put 30 of unleaded in my diesel Range Rover (only a mile before the dealership thankfully). James just took care of it.

My recovery took the RR to their trusted garage, and after a few sleepless nights over the weekend, it was confirmed that they were able to strip and flush the tank and system and no unleaded had made it through to the engine - not a cheap lapse of concentration, but it could have been a heck of a lot worse. I am just so glad that we realised my error whilst we were at the dealership and not on the motorway! I now have the Range Rover back along with a stunning 911 Turbo and cannot speak highly enough of James and Paul and the rest of the guys at FA Roper. Thank you.

I bought a used Lexus from FA Roper last week when I found myself carless after a disastrous experience at another dealer. From the first enquiry to the completed deal it was an absolute pleasure. All the staff I dealt with were consummate professionals who seem to take great pride in the heritage of their business and the fact that they only source excellent vehicles.

Mine appears to be one such vehicle: It has an inscrutable history and-despite having 55k miles on the clock-looks and drives like brand new. When I collected the car, every nook and cranny had been thoroughly cleaned-including the spots that most used car dealers wouldn't even bother cleaning. Phil Roper had plenty of time for me and he spent a good hour showing me the ins-and-outs of the car and explaining all its mysterious features. He was also happy to prepare and install a new set of private plates at no extra cost. Better than any main dealer experience I've had before. Thank you.
