Bought a BMW 330d with 142k miles on the clock, and a very good service history. Expecting the usual age related problems and discrepancies and was willing to spend a bit to bring it back. Within 1000 miles, the ABS pump failed, the DPF was so heavily clogged the car went into limp mode, oil pressure sensor failed, and the latest issue is a brake callipers seizure causing a wheel to lock and thus overheat and ruin my rear brakes as well as causing brake failure on all 4 corners.

Maybe this is unreasonable to say but I did expect better than this given the higher than usual list price of the vehicle. I have spend now, some thousands sorting these issues and I will say that I am disappointed, because most of these issues will have been known about and will be the reason the car was sold in the first place. On a lighter note the guys were very friendly however they probably had to be to sell that car. My advice to people checking this place out is to make sure to ask the right questions. Not as trustworthy as I thought sadly.

I have bought bikes from Adamsons before and been really happy with everything from the first enquiry until delivery. Enough said! I bought another sports bike from Dave at the end of last year. As it was December I kept the bike laid up until the spring despite the warranty lapsing without so much as a test ride. Without going into too much detail I can vouch 100% for fantastic after sales service form these guys! Good honest first class service is all I have ever known from these guys! I will definitely be back! Fantastic!

The service they gave when I bought my R1200 was superb, as was their after sales care. They dealt with queries quickly and were extremely helpful. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Drove up from South Wales to purchase a Nissan Juke and was not disappointed, car was as described and immaculate inside and out. I bought a Astra SXI nearly ten years ago from here. I went to other places and I was told I wouldn't get anything for my old car. I called in on a off chance and they had the car I wanted and gave me a good price for my old car. I had no trouble with the car and I would go back again to buy another one.

Top place. bought my KTM from the guys here. Absolute pleasure to deal with. no nasty haggling back and forth, had the bike and at the best price I could find anyways. Really friendly and knowledgeable, no pushy sales, just honest advice. Great quality of cars that have obviously been looked after. I couldn't think of a better place to buy a car from, will definitely be a returning customer.

I recently bought a used Audi from Adamsons. There was an issue with the power steering, I contacted them and explained the situation. Straight away they said they would pay and in their own words "we won't let you down". True to their word they got in contact with the garage that was carrying out the work and paid them direct. Thank you for not letting me down. Now a great little motor at a great price, would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a used car.

Very nice people to deal with. Sold my car to them, they transferred to money immediately and I can't fault them. I've driven past them for years but never thought about dealing with them, that's not indicative of negative reports, just I've always bought new cars from franchised dealers. Looking at their stock, everything looked in good order and I would not hesitate to buy from them should I need to in the future. Can't remain in business for the time that they have and be cowboys, on asking people more familiar to buying used vehicles than myself, nobody had heard negatively.
