These guys are so disorganised / understaffed it's unbelievable. Made an appointment for a test drive - had to hang around for ages waiting for someone. Found a car we loved and asked for a quote as keen to buy. No follow up. Rang up two days later and the person who answered the phone wasn't able to help. If this is what the service is like when I want to give them tens of thousands of pounds what on earth happens if anything goes wrong post sales. Advice for VW - sell your cars online so customers don't have to be messed about.

Called VW Windrush twice with no luck. Do you want the sale? First time spoke to Matt and explained the situation about my exchange, Matt said he would do some figures for me and would call me back, waited 6 days and no call. Rang the garage back a few days ago, spoke to Matt's colleague, can't remember Matt's colleagues name but was promised that I would get a call back in the morning and if Matt didn't call, Matt's colleague would call, again no call. Considering I was ready to sign a deal, I feel very dissapointed, I will look to another manufacturer.

I like this dealership, have used them for three services on my car and three services on a friends VW. All services were carried out efficiently. Very receptive to feedback so when I explained the car wasn't washed nicely following a service one time they immediately investigated and invited me to come back for a car wash. The staff in the service department are friendly and when their was a problem with my sat nav even though the car was out of warranty Michael the service advisor was so helpful he came out and sorted it immediately.
They also use a high quality Mobil 1 equivalent lubricant for all services, not like most VW dealerships where they use both standard and long life oils. I think the only thing that could be improved is after a service has been completed to receive a copy of the job card to see exactly which work has been carried out. Honda always give a sheet with the ticks and crosses which is helpful. Windrush have an owners club which gives discounts on work carried out though the service prices are higher then some other VW dealerships.

Shockingly bad experience from sales to service - continually for the last eight years. I have no trust or faith in this dealership. They also have the magical ability of finding some new work to be done on your car giving you the impression that it must be done as soon as possible. At Great Cost. Every Visit. Very Expensive.
