Appointed as the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer for East and West Sussex in 1996 and then also appointed as the main dealer for Surrey in 1998. Within that time, we have built upon the success of the marque by not only investing in people, through recruitment and training, but also in the infrastructure of the business itself, locating sales staff and after sales centres at Eastbourne and Worthing. This ensures that we can deliver a prompt level of service to the whole of Sussex. Likewise, our centres at Aldershot, Crawley and Guildford cover Surrey.

I have had mixed experiences with the company over the years. Some good, some poor. My last visit was very poor. My van went in for a service and to have a paintwork issue looked at (flaking paint on the roof of a 3year old van). They weren't interested in the paintwork as it was out of warranty but offered a fifty fifty deal to rectify it, but couldn't tell me what that would entail.
When I checked the oil level it was only just on the minimum mark and the warning light came on. So I had to top it up to the correct level. I wrote a letter to the general manager to complain and he couldn't even be bothered to reply. Very poor service from a Mercedes dealer and if you buy a Merc don't be surprised if the paint flakes off the roof. Don't go to Rossetts and don't buy a Mercedes. I won't again.

Had my Sprinter Motorhome serviced here & was very happy with the service, I am very particular about my Sprinter & even clean the engine compartment regularly it came back spotless after its service. thank you. Just one small niggle was getting paperwork for the work carried out for my records however Dawn came to the rescue & emailed it to me. very satisfied

I have a 2014 Sprinter with only 76000m on the clock that has always been serviced by Rossetts in Worthing and a few weeks after the last service in January 2020 a warning light came on saying oil level too high. I waited to see it it was a one off and it happened a week or so after so I called the service department and was put on hold, when they came back to talk to me their response was it is better to have too much oil than not enough, so I carried on driving the van.
Due to the lockdown restrictions I was not using it a lot. In mid April the engine management light came on (amber) Then in May the oil warning light came on 3 times in 1 day and I was taking the van for an MOT (not at Rossetts) so I asked the MOT garage to look into this and why the engine management light was on and general lack of power. The garage informed me there was 250ml too much oil in the van and the engine management light was due to a blocked DPF and that the high oil level could possibly have been a contributing factor to the blockage.
I called Rossetts to discuss this with them and they said they wouldn't have said that to me about the oil level and wanting to know who I spoke to and they will not take another garage word for it that the DPF is blocked even though the other garage has show me the report on the plug in computer, Rossetts want 115 just for a diagnostic check plus labour to do a forced regeneration for an issue that they have possibly caused. This is the last time I will use Rossetts and possibly even buy Mercedes again as I do not expect a van of this age and mileage to have DPF issues.

Had a very bad experience at this garage and will not be returning. I have also made an official complaint at Mercedes HQ. After my friend (a male ex-mechanic) had spoken to Rossettes (Dawn and Sarah) he was informed it was possible to get a limiter removed from my van. They had a long discussion and he even got a quote. Based on that conversation I brought my van into the garage, at their request at 7am. However, in my own experience of going into the garage I was treated completely differently.
I dropped the van off, went home and then was told later this afternoon that the limiter could be removed to get me up to "100". I assumed this was mph but as it transgressed they we're talking about km, which makes no sense as the van already went up to 60mph=100km. Following this I was fed a plethora of lies about my van being "too big", "too many seats", "it's illegal by law" and a bunch of other stuff that didn't make any sense.
I took my van back and dropped it into another garage. The same garage couldn't remove my limiter because it has to be a Mercedes garage! They even spoke to Rossettes again who were friendly, helpful, and yes, gave them a quote to fix it! I rang them up instantly and was again treated the same, fobbed off and told I'd be called back. I never was. I can only deduce from my experience that I was treated differently than my two male representatives because I am a woman?
Or something about my appearance annoyed them? I am absolutely at a loss as to why they would treat me differently and tell me completely contrasting facts, and speak in a manner that is rude and unhelpful. I have made this complaint to Mercedes HQ and I suggest if anyone else receives this kind of treatment they should report it. Gender bias is not something that should be acceptable, especially from a company like Mercedes, and even more disappointing that it comes from the female members of staff. Shame on you Rossettes, I will never visit your garage again.

We at 365astronomy have been renting two different sizes of vans for several years from Rossetts. This usually happens when we go to large exhibitions and astronomy shows and we take lots of stock with us. They were always very helpful and flexible. They always tried to find the best solution for us.

Don't buy your van from here. When I was sold the van the service was great. I have been back for the annual service included in the sale price. Got my van back clearly hadn't been serivced properly oil hadn't been changed and fluids not filled up. Clearly as it's a free service they don't want to spend anything on the vehicles. Poor show. Van was covered in bird poo when returned, The service manager there has got a attitude problem, he is rude and clearly doesn't care about the service he gives I've seen him talk to other customer like this, not a great face for Mercedes
