Booked a test drive via messenger on the Friday morning, Direct Cars put the keys to one side for me until I arrived that evening. I noticed the car on arrival and as I was giving it a quick look over, Tom came out with the keys and told me to have a proper look round and left me to it. Tom was really friendly and put zero pressure on me at all. Overall buying from Direct Cars and dealing with Tom and Phil was an absolute pleasure, so happy with my new car and the service I received. Will definitely use again!

Visited today to look and test drive a really nice looking 1.0 ST line X fiesta. Really nice looking car and salesman seemed pretty decent. However, I have done my homework and when asking the salesman what is the 0-60 time on this particular model his answer was 8.6. I queried this and asked again, and told the same incorrect answer. Try 10.6, 2.seconds slower. Do your homework please.

Absolutely dreadful experience. Sales staff where incredibly rude and the 'manager' if it is possible was ever worse. We we're hounded from the second we walked in. No cars were open so you had to ask and then they stood next to the car while it was unlocked applying pressure to hand over a deposit and take it for a test drive. The sales guy wouldn't let us test drive more than one car as he said he doesn't want us to change our mine if we test drove another car. WHAT?!
I felt like criminals and we were only car shopping. The original sales man we spoke to was very entitled, sleezy and arrogant. We politely left in huge disbelief of the experience we have just endured. I called to speak to a manager the following day however before I could speak the 'manager' gas lighted me, repeatedly swore at me and shouted at me before putting the phone down on me.
I have never been anywhere where I have been treated so poorly and with such incredible disrespect. Speaking to people after this, it seems we are not the only people to have been subjected to a tirade of abuse. We went straight to Motorpoint in Sheffield where we bought a car the same day and had such an amazing experience we returned to buy our second car from there.
Excellent service and aftercare, no hassle, really low prices and even priced matched the second car plus an Amazon voucher. Get yourself directly away from direct cars and straight to Motorpoint!

Excellent customer service from Ian and Phil when purchasing my new car, initially had various conversations with them both on Saturday, always helpful and informative, before driving up from Essex to Sheffield to purchase the car. Lovely to meet them both in person today. Especially lovely to receive a call from Ian tonight to make sure we had a good journey home. I cannot recommend them enough

We, and now our adult children have used Direct Cars for the past 15 years. We like their harass free style, allowing you to look around at will, no matter how many times you visit. Only when you like a vehicle and require the keys to look inside do you come into contact with a salesperson, but, even then you are left to your own devices, no slick sales talk.
On purchasing a car there is no pressure to take out Hire Purchase rather than cash, which we have had in the past but not at Direct Cars. We would recommend them. A particular thank you to Andy Benton for dealing with our purchase and the transfer of our exchange car.

For such a vast company I find it intolerable that you can sell cars that are of poor maintenance. My friend is having so many issues and it is all of Direct cars responsibility to amend the issues in question (was a potentially life changing event)! How can you even claim to be a trusted LTD company when your loyalties stop once payment is received!
Even though the car is still under warranty you claim the issue is not of your doing. This is very soon going to escalate in to a court case. I am wanting to say so much more but as things stand, it is not yet my responsibility to elaborate! All the same I would like all other future car buyers to tread with care. Direct Cars do not care if you have a tragic accident due to maintenance issues.
All future buyers beware! This is a bad situation and look forward to watching this unfold for the rights of consumers.(and my friend) I eagerly await what response they will give to this review! As for the previous article, I concur that the staff and sales team are all rude and unwilling to co operate when things come knocking. SUCH A BAD COMPANY AND STAFF ARE A TRUE SHAM.
