Great game of golf on the Forrest course. Some directions to the next holes would be a big help even it was just a arrow. Will try the manor next time.

Good course well maintained, although the recently sanded greens were a little slow. The food was excellent as was the company with the seniors' section.

Aged the Manor course in November, . It was in fantastic condition. With excellent tees and greens. The course is quite tight of the tee so needs a bit of thought to get round. Highly recommended!

Two lovely days golf on both The Manor and The Forest courses. Excellent courses and service. If it was possible to discreetly have "next tee" markers or direction indicators that would be helpful as we spend a lot of time wondering where to go! But worth it.

We have played and enjoyed both courses a few times when visiting the New Forest so was looking forward to a renewed 'experience'. The welcome from the assistant pro was both courteous and helpful but a subsequent issue with a defective rental trolley was very annoying. He acknowledged the defect but said it was within an 'acceptable tolerance level'.

For him it may have been, but for the user and the renter it proved not to be. Why he was not prepared to substitute it with another trolley bewilders me - no great deal I'm sure. Having got that off my chest, the Manor course was presented well, in good condition and a fair test. The members are always friendly here and very etiquette-wise. Disappointing that the clubhouse was being renovated at the time of our visit but the hotel facilities were available if required. Just a pity our 'experience' was marred by that trolley incident.

Lovely round on the beautiful Forest Course. Most of the greens running fast as its been so dry.tricky to stay on a couple of the raised greens. Got a little confused by a temporary tee on the 4th, and the 15th which was set up as a par 3 as opposed to the par 4 on the card. Probably worth checking on any course changes in the pro shop before setting out. Fantastic value at 20 green fee!

Friendly and welcoming service in the pro shop and hotel. Course is great and has something for everyone. Greens were a bit slow on the day we played but I'm aware they had been recently maintained and it didn't distract from a great afternoons golf

The Manor is a top tree lined parkland course with some great holes. Some long testing par 4s but generous enough fairways and superb greens. Friendly helpful staff in the pro shop and club. Had a great day.

A great selection of equipment and knowledgeable advice from head pro Clive and all of his staff. Well worth a visit
