I bought a car from here 18 months ago, it came with MOT and apparent service and no advisories, 4months later new brakes pads and shoes, suspension front and back, new exhaust, new ball joint on the front also new wishbone and 5 new tyres. Phoned them as there was no locking nut for the alloys and about this, apparently none of it was their problem, shoddy service, shoddy car buyer beware!

I've never bought a car from a small independent dealer before so I was a little dubious, however I bought the BMW 3 series after viewing it on Auto Trader from Carrington Cars. The salesman was very friendly and left us to view the car at our leisure. Very happy with the car and the service. The price was great too! I would definitely recommend them and will definitely buy from an independent again.

Bought a car recently from here and was overall very happy with the car. There were a couple of problems with the car when I had bought it; but Derek the owner was very quick to sort these out and pay for them to be put right. A straight up guy who stuck to his word. what more could you ask for from a car sales man! I would recommend these guys and would go back again.

Called in previously to look at a car and found it didn't have reach on the wheel which I needed so i spoke to the salesman and seemed fine so kept an eye out on the dealer for suitable cars. A Ford C-Max with low mileage, decent spec and nicely priced came in, I went down to look at it. It had been recently serviced (about 5-6 weeks I think), some recent work done complete with receipts, decent length on mot, no major mot issues in database, 2 keys, clean in and out just the odd scuff but really minimal.
I turned the engine on, struggled a touch and a little excess smoke from exhaust but had been sat for a while so revved a little and seemed better and cleared up. I checked everything worked, flicked switches etc. Popped the bonnet after being shown, that you have to use the key and rotate the Ford badge to reveal bonnet lock. I noticed a few issues like coolant level near empty, the oil wasn't clean and also near minimum, this set off alarm bells given it were recently serviced.
The salesman suggested it were normal for the vehicle and just needed a top up. I'm not a mechanic, thus can't speculate on the fault, if any so I haven't marked this zero stars, but were enough to set alarms off. Its a shame as the car were perfect for me.
