Professional, efficient and reliable. They provide an excellent service and there are comfortable surroundings if you want to wait. They will also drop you in Galashiels town centre and collect you when the car is ready. Whatever the car is in for a "mini MOT style" safety check is carried out before the car is returned. An exceptional service.

BRILLIANT!. Can't say much more really. I, myself.am a car salesperson. So I have a pretty good idea of how a dealership should or could be run. THIS IS IT!.I Bought it without seeing it in person.but had a video and pictures sent to me by David ( top guy ) Everything was as described, which was great as I travelled from Leeds (170miles away) and was not disappointed.
He's honest.upfront and GENUINE. Just what you want when you part with your hard earned money. Receptionist is friendly and the product genius was on hand to make sure I understood the controls. I may well return in 2/3 years! Thank you Clelands

Professional outfit that always gives a first class service, always willing to do that bit extra making the customer comfortable while work is being carried out on their vehicle. I was very kindly driven down into the town and picked up again by an employee while my vehicle was being serviced. The girl on reception is very well mannered and pleasant (I Think Rachel is her name) and always willing to offer help.
The mechanics are always willing to discuss work being carried out and advise when needed. A video is sent to your mobile phone to show the work being carried out. First class operation of which I would not hesitate in recommending!

Faultless customer service A recent issue with our Volvo when on holiday in Northumberland meant our Volvo was recovered to Clelands Galashiels for inspection and repair. The level of customer service from the technical team and in particular the service manager, Jamie Cleland, was outstanding. Not only did he keep us informed of what was happening and the findings, but he also showed concern for us that we were left without alternative transport in a remote cottage, miles from any services, taking time to try and speed up delivery of a courtesy car.
Obviously for us this Volvo dealer is about 300 miles away from home, but for anyone local to Galashiels we cannot recommend Clelands highly enough. Their communication and concern for us made a very difficult 3 days much less painful.

At Clelands you are not just a customer, but a valued customer. When my car recently had a serious issue Jamie pulled out all the stops to ensure that matter was resolved as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Clelands are not the cheapest, but for quality of service and going above and beyond what is expected they are hard to beat.

Bought a trade 2009 Rav 4, We had a little discussion about the tyres and some rust and got 300 off, I was told the car had a 1 month warranty. I noticed the brakes weren't as sharp as they should be but it could have been stood for a while. I refueled the car for the journey home. the braked did not improve and noticed when I got home the fuel filler pipe had leak (corroded) anything above quarter of a tank leaks.
Next morning battery totally flat, bought new battery, took the car to MOT station, car would have failed MOT poor brakes, caliper sliders seized, and would fail MOT due to fuel leaking from fuel filler pipe, So ordered all new brakes for the front + sliders, new filler pipe. So the car now was unsafe for use on the road, I contacted Clelands and was 100% fobbed off, They did offer me my money back but I was 140 miles away with a car not fit for the road.
I was told the warranty was for "Major" parts only, Disappointingly there was no interest what so ever and the manager couldn't be bothered to phone me back when I was told he would. It looks like the car had not been inspected before sale, If it had then it opens a can of worms, it's cost me an additional 500 to make the car roadworthy, In addition to that, due to the condition of the chassis when I got under it I paid AB 4x4 350 to try and derust and underseal it, but I accept that was my choice but had to be done before winter due to the poor condition.
Just be careful when you buy a trade car from Clelands, get it inspected before you buy, I'm sure the Volvo customers will be treated like royalty. I would have had better treatment from a back street garage.
