Lowes (Larne)

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend these guys when it comes to buying a car. Yes they were very helpful at the start when I first went into buy the car. However in the 1 and half years that I had my car the fuel line went (which Kenny did fix which I was grateful for at the time), the car was drinking adblue which I thought wasn't right but was told otherwise and not to worry about.

Then the turbo went on it and while my mechanic was trying to fix it it came to life that the engine in the car had been changed. So the engine in the car wasn't the one that was suppose to be in the car when it was made. When my mechanic got in touch with Audi for the relevant parts to fix the car they were unaware of the engine being changed saying that it must have been done at another garage.

This in the end took longer to get parts and get the car fixed in order to sell which in the end cost me a small fortune as I'm a taxi driver and rely on a car for my business and livelihood.

I have bought numerous cars from lowes of larne, I have absolutely nothing bad to say very friendly service, and had to get my car ready for mot and the management went above and beyond any car dealer I have dealt with before, all I can say is thank you Kenny, Jack and staff for all your help and would recommend yous to anyone looking for a car

Words cant describe how happy I am with this company. I booked my first MOT in Larne as this was the earliest available appointment. On my way there I got a hazard light flashing on the dashboard stating that my engine oil was extremely low. I googled the closest Garage which just happened to be Lowes of Larne. When I arrive I explained the situation and that I had my MOT in 30 minutes. Kenny and the mechanic dropped everything they were doing just to help me, it turns out that when my car was serviced the previous day somehow they forgot to put oil back in my car.

Thanks to Kenny and their team my car passed the MOT and they saved my cars engine. Also after the MOT they were happy to check the whole car over and now I can rest easy. Best wishes

We bought a VW Golf from Lowes of Larne, a few weeks later a front spring broke. When I rang them a very pleasant and professional receptionist explained that as a wear and tear part this was not covered by the warranty. I can understand this as even a new spring can be broken by hitting a pothole or going too fast over a speed bump but she immediately went on to say Lowes would replace this free of charge.

When we took the car to them they left us off in Larne and lifted us again when the car was ready. First class service, thanks to all involved, the receptionist and mechanic who carried out the work are a credit to their business.

I got my car out of here November 2016, I can not say a bad word about it! The staff done all they could to provide me with their best service and still do! One year later and I returned to Lowes of larne to have a full valet on my car, it is like brand new! I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me!

Friendly approachable sales team with the manager providing the personal touch over the new year holiday period so I could pick my new purchase up out of business hours. He picked me up personally and drove me to his showroom! First Class Experience From A First Class Company. Highly Recommended!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM LOWES. Your experience will start very well, but the scrap that you will buy will never run well or be fixed correctly. I bought a VW Bora and it started to break down on the way home! This should have Been a warning but I trusted Kenny - to my cost, and after 4 further breakdowns requiring a breakdown truck each time, I gave the car back at much less than what I paid for it. And after 3 months, LOWES have not reregistered the car as I still have not received a refund from the tax office. Remember - DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM LOWES

I bought a Ford S-Max from Lowes of Larne and the whole process was very smooth. Kenny helped to look after everything and in his absence Aron helped. The car was the cheapest available throughout the UK and they were able to arrange delivery to Leicester. Thank you for an excellent service. Highly recommended, I would definitely use them again.
