With two staff members, and only fourteen cars for sale, they began to build the foundations for Richlee Motor Company. Our site was quite different back then, most notably was the petrol station which was then branded by Murco Petroleum. Within two years, the petrol station was obtained by us, and we began to run the car sales, and service station side by side.
We have five dedicated service bays within our service and preparation centre. If you have purchased a vehicle from us, you can rest assured that it has been fully inspected by our skilled team of technicians using the highest quality tools and diagnostic software. Each vehicle is subject to our very own 100 Point check which is compulsory to every vehicle that is delivered. If you haven't purchased a car from us and own a vehicle that needs mechanical attention, we provide the same treatment for you too.

Went to view a car with my partner, walked in and greeted at the door with "can I help you" by an elderly man, no offer of a drink or welcome, we sat down and enquired about a car, asked about the service record to be told "no don't have this, all digital and we couldn't possibly tell you as a breach of GDPR" funny he then called later that same day to tell us he had indeed found the service records?
We asked to test drive only to be told "no not unless your serious about the car" beggars belief - we ended up buying direct from VW who btw gave us the keys to a car we liked and said " enjoy a test drive please " that's service!

I recently purchased my second car through Richlee Motor Co and I have to say I am more than glad I did. They always offer the best customer service and always go that extra mile. Rik looked after me the whole way through the sale, was always professional and managed to get me the best deal for my old car. I have only positive comments for the Richlee Motor Company in Rayleigh - not only did they have a very well presented Mercedes (and gave me an excellent trade in price) but they responded quickly to my frequent emails and gave me the additional information I requested very promptly. I must also praise Chloe Wilson who was always very professional and polite and often went out of her way to provide additional photos of the car and investigate more details on the previous service history - she was an absolute credit to this dealership and never once pressured me to buy the car and nothing was ever too much trouble.
