Our business is built on personal relationships. That is as true now as it was in 1882 when my great grandfather established the first enterprise to carry the Grimshaws name. Much has changed in the intervening years but, as we are about to celebrate our 125th year in business the people we are proud to call both clients and friends are still our paramount concern.

Total incompetence of service staff at Vauxhall Pentagon - went for service and they forgot to tell me to bring in my spare key as needed a software update. They even rang me on the Friday before to check I was OK for bringing the car in on Monday but NOT the spare key! Cost me 2 hours of my time to return with the spare key. Last time I use them now as had issues before with this garage.

Totally online sale due to lockdown and living so far away from the garage so I had to have total trust in the salesman to be honest about the condition of the car. Matt completely made me feel at ease and was reassuring which enabled a stress free, quick and easy sale. The car was exactly as described and delivered to my door. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I unfortunately returned a car that was faulty via the financial ombudsman I have just ordered a brand new Crossland via motability and I got a email from pentagon Oldham this morning they as a group of companies will no longer deal with me as I cost them money for returning a car not fit for purpose I have an email from pentagon oldham for proof and im willing to supply a copy upon request

Never trust Pentagon. I did contact head office only to be told lies and you failed to do the job now reporting you to the motor ombudsman nit only that your staff in video making lies about customers and telling lies about cars and the work they needed and even to the point of fraud in you work. So don't tell me customer service will help they don't they lie like you.

After offering me a test drive, I purchased a train ticket to travel over a hundred miles as they won't move a car for a customer. I was then told they can't find the car and think it may have been sold. No explanation, no apology. Also ignored my complaint email. Good luck if you are buying from them.

My company wanted to purchase a van from this company and got refused. This company's policy is that they do not export "due to risk". So we went to Van National in Newcastle-Under-Lyme instead where nothing was a problem; a similar van was paid for and delivered to Holyhead for export. We have never been turned away like this before.baffled by it.

My car was repaired at the body shop in Burton upon Trent. They took over a month and it was a bad repair. They took it back and it came back even worse. I complained to my insurance company and an independent expert was sent out. They agreed it was a poor job. Pentagon have now disputed the experts report. 4 months on I still have a bad repair. Terrible customer service. Avoid if you can.
