Purchased a car from here in July and I love it. I dealt with nick and Jamie who were both an absolute pleasure to deal with. The deal itself was easy, comfortable and straight forward. As for the aftercare. It was absolutely outstanding. Fantastic communication and went leaps and bounds out of their way to accommodate me and my time schedule. It is a professional family run business and comes across that way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. A+ dealer

After some consideration I have finally decided to write this review, we traveled 39 miles to see the car we wished to buy, while there nice and friendly, however their value of their customers once money was handed over was disappointing and didn't really care after that. no offer of warranty if the cars was faulty. when serviced else where BIG problems were shown. no service complete when it says on their website which I have screenshots of that service will be completed with MOT and valeting.
We only had one key provided which is fine but felt like they should tell you of this. As a first time car buyer I felt rather disgusted how much of an advantage they took, since buying the car we've had to pay out over 600 pounds worth of work which they should of picked up but couldn't be bothered to do obviously and we paid for the asking price too though they did deliver for free. after paying a big sum for the car out right. Luckily my family and my new born child was safe after we serviced it else where. I then contacted the company to be told all our problems were not theirs (thought they should of serviced it) so for this DO NOT BUY from them.

Brilliant customer service! Honest and really helpful team. Speedy, detailed and efficient work. They make you feel welcome and a valued customer. Very professional garage, competitive and fair priced - I would highly recommend. Even though I have moved out of the village I still go back to this garage for all my car needs. Thank you S&G!

Incredible service. The power-steering belt snapped on our Mondeo just hours before we were about to go in holiday. S&G immediately collected our car, ordered the part in, replaced it and returned in back to us in a matter of hours - all in time for us to leave on holiday without any delay. They even topped up our oil and water to make sure we were ready to go. Thanks guys! Highly recommended.

S and G car Sales. Absolutely fantastic, they were very helpful to my husband and I when we went to look at a car in January 2017. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the vehicle and were very supportive throughout the process. I would highly recommend this team if you don't know much about cars and want honest trading. Many thanks to all the team, particularly Jamie and Lee. Sian and Pete

I would never, in a million years, recommend this company to anyone. We paid almost 5000 for our car and within less than a week the warning light came on. They were rude and unhelpful and very grudgingly, after many phone calls, agreed to look at the car, even though it was well within the 3 month warranty which came with its purchase. This involved borrowing my parents car as the garage is based miles and miles away from us.
They said they had looked at the EGR valve and cleaned it. Less than two weeks after this the light came on again. Same problem. Also, the gear stick didn't feel right but they only oiled it. A day before we had had it for six months, after waiting in hospital all day for my elderly, 81 year old father to have his leg amputated, at almost midnight the car made awful grinding noises on the way to my parents home.
This garage flatly refused to help us, saying the only way they could was if we could get it all the way to Ely. They have no tow truck and expected us to pay someone or drag it ourselves almost 60 miles, (as it was stranded at my parents house), to them to look at. They must have known this was impossible for us. We had to let a local garage look at it and the gear box, fly wheel and clutch needed replacing.
Almost 1700. I have taken it for it's MOT for the first time since owning it today and it failed. Almost 500 to get it through. It has been a complete nightmare. We feel that the gear box should have been picked up on way before any sale was made. I had already explained that we'd had to ask for the money to buy a car from my elderly parents as we are in no position to pay for a car, and again had to ask my parents for the 1700 for the gear box, fly wheel and clutch replacement while my Dad was in hospital.
This company showed absolutely no kindness whatsoever and it has left a very sour taste in my mouth that anyone could be so uncaring, especially when I think of the salesman shaking my then 11 year old son's hand and telling him to enjoy the car! It is a mistake that we will never, ever make again. As for the star rating I had to choose one, but there isn't a low enough rating that I can put on!

Bought a 1500 pound car from this dealer Nov 7th, car broke down mid Jan and was not drivable so had to be towed to a local garage who said car had broken cambelt and would cost up to 800 quid to repair. Contacted this dealer as I had a 3 month warranty. They said they didnt include this in their warranty and I should have had the belt replaced early Jan when the car was apparently 10 years old (only had 59,000 on clock). Felt this dealer should have warned me of this when I bought the car, knowing it would need doing 9 weeks after I purchased.
Instead I am supposed to magically know all these things when I buy a car. The car had apparently just been serviced and MOTd, and even my local Ford dealer said that S and G should have replaced the belt prior to sale, knowing it was about up for renewal anyway. S and Gs reaction has been unfriendly, uncaring (even though we are a one income family with 4 kids whom now have to walk a mile to school in all weathers) we cant afford to pay 800 pounds to repair a 1500 pound car. S and G threatened legal action if I told anyone of their bad service, so all I can say to the general public and anyone thinking of buying a car there, be sure to ask if anything needs doing or replacing before purchase. as you will be treated like dirt afterwards.
