Having spent over J5,000 on a car from Minstergate I was extremely annoyed and disappointed with the service received. Having test driven the car with my father (a motor mechanic by trade) a few faults were noticed. Having spoke to John ( owner)...it was agreed that the faults would be solved...they were not. The advert stated FSH, it wasn't so a service was agreed upon, as were brake pads and under inflating tires.
None of these things were sorted. It took an independent garage, J250 and a lot of aggro to sort the car (when the mechanic changed the filters and plugs he said that they hadn't been changed in years!). I have emailed and called Minstergate to no avail, they couldn't care less. John comes across as very genuine but, in my instance, clearly not. I would strongly advise staying away from this garage.
