Utterly amazing, the customer care from this company was first rate from start to finish, from the constant correspondence keeping me in the loop from Mike, to the amazing delivery from John, who was a real gentleman and spent time with me explaining the car and how it drove, I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and can't recommend them enough! I really couldn't be happier, thank you!

Easy purchase of my Range Rover with excellent workshop aftercare from Michael and his team, always polite, prompt and genuinely helpful. When the worst happened after about a year and the vehicle needed an expensive repair it was quickly sorted out under the warranty to a very high standard. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.

AVOID! The vehicle I bought was advertised as a panoramic sunroof (a huge selling point) This is not the case, the roof is glass at the top and the outside but internal, has a plastic roof. The cost to fit this would be 1000 with Mercedes. The centre consul is scratched badly, this was not picked up on photographs. There are other more wear and tear issues as well.
We pointed out to those issues when seeing the car. Gary at the dealers acted like as he would not know about the scratches which seemed dishonest and unprofessional. He actually tried to get rid of the plastic inside as we mentioned the false advertising. This was ridiculous. I made a complain with the finance car company but Hamworthy Car Centre is not willing to make a step forward and is not understandable at all. I suppose a lesson is not to buy a car unless I see it with my own eyes. ALSO: The toilet sink was disgusting as I noticed a kind of fungus growing out all over the tap.

After buying a vehicle from this so-called garage, we drove our new vehicle away. Within 2 hours we started having problems. lights appeared on the dashboard. After several phone calls and numerous visits to "back street garages" which we were told to go to by Hamworthy Garage, things started to become clear that the service from Hamworthy was not what we expected.
Eventually things were rectified. (2 weeks without a car). Several phone calls later and a personal phone call to ourselves the garage, we were told that they had not been paid by Hamworthy Garage so would not be willing to deal with them again. We explained that unfortunately this was out of our control but thanked them for the service they had provided.
Several weeks later but still within the warranty more problems occurred. Again we rang Hamworthy Garage and asked to speak to the Manager and got fobbed off with "I'm sorry he's not in" or " he's with a customer". So when my wife found herself unable to get into the car, and then to watch a video on uTube to show her how to get into the vehicle and make the 350 mile journey home, on her own, not knowing if she or the car would get back was the final straw.
Again I rang the garage. I spoke to someone who immediately told me that the manager was once again not available and would get him to ring me back. Eventually the manager got back to me and after being rude on the phone and slamming the phone down I was at my wits end. I rang up one final time hoping to get this resolved and was told to take it to the garage to get it sorted.
I did seek legal advise at this time because Hamworthy were so unhelpful. I was told to bring the car back to them. (7 hour round trip and 150.00 to plug it into the diagnostic machine) which was not going to happen.so was told to take it back to the initial garage which I might add, had STILL not been paid. Anyway 7 days later I had a phone call to say that the vehicle was ready but had to pay for the work carried out myself.
I emailed Hamworthy but was told that due to it being a battery issue I would have to pay for the work carried out. I rang Hamworthy, again no joy, so spoke to the garage which repaired the vehicle. Hamworthy still hadn't paid for the last lot of work which had been carried out. I was left with a hefty 400.00 even though the car was still under warranty.
Oh and as a precautionary measure I am seeking legal advice and am looking for some sort or reimbursement of the inconvenience and costs which I had unwillingly paid. So my advice is stay well clear from this garage. Rude staff, unwilling to be helpful. Worst experience in a second hand car dealer.***************AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE************

Had my fiesta MOT done here last year. Service was fab. Been back a couple of times for some little repairs here and there. Each time the staff are more than happy to look it over and give me honest opinion as best and most cost effective way to fix anything. Will definitely be going back to book it in for it's next MOT.
