I bought my car from Swanson Motors and the level of service I have received has been absolutely faultless. On my first visit to the showroom, all the staff I had dealings with were friendly and incredibly helpful. I asked questions, made random requests all of which were all dealt with quickly and professionally. If it hadn't of been for this I may not have purchased my car.
I didn't at any point feel pressured into purchasing add ons with the car, although now I have the car I really wish I had. When I picked my car up it was gleaming. I was so pleased. I really can't this motor company they have been fabulous.

I bought a car (peugeot 508) from a swanson motor. Checked and said the music system is not working. He tried fixed three months but not fixed. I didn't wait any longer. I terminated the contract. There were no termination issues. the staff is helpful and friendly. The only problem is that I lost some money and time.

The service you get from this company is shocking, I purchased a disabled adapted car for my son and within 2 months of owning it the rear wheel chair restraints stopped working. I had to purchase replacements and was told I'd get reimbursed for them. It's now been 4 months and still no reimbursement for them. They just ignore your emails and I think they hope you'll just give up.
Well Swanson motor company that's not the case I will take this all the way if I have to. I hope no one has to go through what I've had to endure with this shambolic Company. Avoid at all costs.

I recently bought a 2012 Porsche Boxster S from Swanson Motor Company. The car had not been used by the previous owner for about 2 years and needed servicing at a Porsche OPC, an MOT, two wheels needed refurbishment due to light kerb damage and a repair to the brake pedal, Mike Quigg agreed to all this and we agreed a price including my P/X. Everything we agreed was done properly, all the tyres were also renewed by Swanson with the correct N rated Pirelli P Zero, s as they were showing signs of perishing when the MOT was done.
It was delivered to me in Bristol and I found a few faults the next day which Mike Quigg agreed to get Porsche Bristol to fix. Ashley was the liaison with them and I picked up the car yesterday and it's now perfect Swanson Motor Company are a trustworthy car dealership that do what they say they will and go the extra mile to sort out the faults I found after paying for the car, not a 5 ***** but rather a 7 ******* car dealer.

Brought car feb 2021 no mot certificate present checked mot online after delivery as I got car delivered due to distance. Bulbs out in both back lights only way to fix is new back lights as they are a whole unit cost of over 700 pounds. After much arguing for hours Micheal agreed I could get this done at my local Ford and he will pay. That's resolved or so I thought.
When getting lights done the Ford mechanic pointed out a gearbox oil and filter change service was overdue around 750? Hold on this car was freshly serviced by Swanson befor sale stamp and all as advertised. Straight on phone to Micheal at Swanson who argued uncontrollably and eventually admitted they do a pre same service only not a proper service and he admitted he did not do gearbox oil and filter change but did stamp the service book and felt happy that he advertised it as sold with a new service.
After hours and I mean about 4 hours of arguing with him he would not allow my local Ford do this for me at his cost and only way he wound rectify this was if he did it for me am had to travel 3 hours there and back for them to do this for me and just have to hope they have done it. Please read negative reviews I see a gent had a gearbox issue and if Swanson are selling cars advertised and stamped with a service but they are not following the manufacturer guidelines only do a pre sales check over basically this wound make sense about another customers gearbox having issues.
If you have an issue you will see the attitude of management also see other negative reviews to back this up. Apparently in the managers words you should check what service is done before paying for car apparently do not go by the stamp at all in the book. Even thou on website under the service but it says services are to the manufacture standard this is wrong they will only do what they see fit. Funny how he did not give me a copy of a mot certificate showing the issue with back lights and I had to see that online now negative reviews make sense.

We purchased our vehicle over the telephone and did not know what the vehicle was going to be like until it arrived. Needless to say the car was exactly as described, absolutely spotless paintwork and interior and drives like an absolute dream. We were reassured and put at ease by Micheal and James. I bought a BMW M235i from Swanson Motors back in September 2020. The price was competitive and I was very pleased with the friendly service - James Melsome and his team made the experience painless and the communication throughout the sales process was good, which was appreciated as a first time car buyer. They were also helpful rather than pushy in selling an extended warranty. Swansons arranged to deliver the vehicle from Devon to central London, which was appreciated.
I received a congestion zone charge ticket a couple of weeks later (the driver having accidentally driven the car through the London congestion zone on delivery) - James sorted this out with minimum fuss.
