4MATIC is far more than just a standard 4 wheel drive. This system automatically adjusts to allow you to drive across different types of terrain and road surface. If any of the four wheels begins to slip, power is automatically sent to the opposite wheel - no matter which wheel. Even if three of the four wheels are affected, the fourth wheel will adjust to support your driving conditions.

Absolutely fantastic service. Even though my car is an older model the whole approach was second to none. I dealt mainly with Martyn Lewis, but all of the staff were polite and incredibly helpful. Martyn managed to put my mind at ease over " the list " of problems, pointing out what was needed immediately and what could be dealt with at a later date. All in all, a first class service which did not break the bank. Would highly recommend.

UPDATE: Real effort made by Jason at Sandown Salisbury Mercedes to resolve the issues below and also to encourage me to come back to and use the service. He has genuinely tried to sort things out and I have been happy to return. As a result, star rating changed accordingly. Review: Happy to post details here of mulitple incidents of phone calls not returned., e-mails not answered for 6 weeks (due to furlough apparently but Sandown didn't bother diverting the affected persons e-mail).
Nice enough people to deal with but they have fundamental organisational issues which don't seem to have improved 2 years later. Statements like "we always strive to provide blah blah" are utterly meaningless tripe unless that is reflected in the experience from the dealership. Martin in service and Matt Gately in sales are two colleagues worthy of note but the general level of service via phone. or e-mail is appalling.

Sandown Mercedes-Benz Salisbury have exceptional service and care for their customers, unlike other dealerships! Dean was great he guided me through the process as I purchased the vehicle and answered many questions I had. I was also impressed with the personalised top quality/informative videos of the car.
