I love what they do. Bringing the best of the JDM van market over to the US makes me smile. I especially love the updates, adding backup cameras and bluetooth stereo units brings these vehicles neatly into the 21st century. It is so cool to see Rav4s, Toyota Estimas, the Hilux Surf, and many Delicas in various configurations here in the US. Ian and his crew are so friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and they clearly have impeccable taste in JDM, as evidenced by their inventory.

I've been looking to purchase a Toyota Hiace van for some time, however had a difficult time getting ahold of any sellers. When I came across Javan Imports, I was immediately impressed by the knowledge and assistance from Ian. I live in a different state, however Ian was able to accommodate and send me a thorough video of the van, highlighting all the details. Ian is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and is passionate about his work.

Working with him through the buying process was simple and pleasant. Even after purchasing the van, Ian made himself available to answer additional questions and provide assistance with the registration. Can't recommend this place enough!

Ian and Mitch at Javan Imports are amazing, not only are they not pushy at all, they also offer a wider array of JDM imports that they source from Japan through a close partnership in country. Their cars are inspected both overseas and while in country and receive a host of upgrades/maintenance including tires, timing belts, fluids and anything else that needs to be done to make them road ready for individuals purchasing.

I drove down from Bellingham to look at a different lot and private party entirely but after my experience I ended up walking away with a HiAce that day. Drove it all the way back to Bellingham without a hitch and it was smooth as hell. I will give an update after I put something like 10,000 or more kms on the engine. Thanks again guys and you will not be disappointed when you check out their lot.

I called this guy and asked if I could drive vehicles. I stated that I would be driving in for about an hour and a half and wanted to drive a variety of vans since I was just beginning my journey of learning about JDM vehicles. We took one test drive and apparently I offended him by asking general questions and then he refused to let me drive any other vehicles. Don't waste your time with this jerk.

I very highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a JDM van. Was on the fence between importing it myself (sight unseen) or getting one from an import dealer. Glad I went with the latter. Ian was super responsive and helpful both before and after the purchase and really wants his customers to be happy. I can tell great care went into the van as it's in great shape and drives spectacularly.

They had a mechanic in Japan go through the thing and it appears they took care of most of the maintenance. A few (minor) things need to still be addressed but this van is from the 80's and drives great. What more could you want? Very happy with my experience!

If you're looking for a unique and great quality JDM import vehicle, this is the place to go. Ian has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and so easy to work with. They're very knowledgeable and really do their due diligence when it comes to making sure the vehicle is in great shape (mechanically and cosmetically) before you take it home. They also take care of all the paperwork/legalities associated with importing the vehicle and making sure you have absolutely everything you need so you're able to get it titled and registered, which is a huge relief as a buyer. So happy we chose to do our business with Javan Imports!

I can't say enough about how awesome Ian and Javan Imports are! He found the coolest van for us and has gone above and beyond in the process. From having it checked out by multiple independent mechanics to professionally cleaning it. You would not believe that the van is 25 plus years old! Not to mention his aid with all the importing and registration paperwork.

If you're not familiar with that process, it's quite complicated. His partner in Japan also makes it easier for you to source parts and accessories for your vehicle. If you are at all thinking about getting a Japanese import vehicle, go with Javan. You won't regret it!
