My car had broken down, managed to get it to EMG as this is the Vauxhall dealership available in Cambridge. Was refused any help, I was visibly distressed and I depended on my car and was told no one could help 'for weeks', therefore to try and take it/ get it recovered to another garage. I was very upset with the customer care and the way they treated someone in need.

I had poor customer service today at Murketts Huntingdon at the parts desk. I tried to return a 20 oil filter as the wrong filter was supplied in the correct box. From walking in the door the staff were intent on blocking my request. "Our card machine doesn't do refunds, you have to email us and then head office can look at that". "What's your reg. number etc" trying to see if I'd mis ordered.
Bit of in and out of the managers office before finally refusing me on a rubber ring technicality. Really. Never mind I was supplied the wrong filter and discovered this during an oil change, had to re fit my used filter. Try to tell them about the error. They weren't interested. One of them laughed at me as I was moaning as I was leaving. I've spent 60,000 on cars there over the years. Guess what, I'll be shopping elsewhere and they can keep the 20. Well done Murketts.

Started off well, high cost repair, disappointingly messed it up and caused a higher cost repair. Weirdly had to argue about the fact they should refund (some) of the cost and eventually they gave about 10-15% back, begrudgingly. As they messed up the repair, (they didn't put the coolant pipe back on!) this resulted in a new head gasket and ended up with them buying the vehicle rather than repairing.
Then when I went back to service another ford with them, they came back with the pathetic response that they didn't have a good experience last time, so don't want to help! Hilarious really as they completely messed it all up for me but can't actually understand that for some reason. Anyway, suggest you find an alternate garage to service your car as based on my experience, you WILL be disappointed!

I have had a couple of bad experience with customer service throughout my experiences with Vauxhall Bury St Edmunds, however this review is to highlight that Debbie at Vauxhall in Cambridge has been an absolute diamond to talk to and helped me throughout my car breaking down three times in the last three weeks. She has come back to my voicemails quickly and helped me to get a hire car whilst waiting for my car to be fixed. Thank you Debbie, you have been amazing!

I left my Insignia for service last July and told them amongst other things, to fix my A/C which was not working. When I collected the car they told me that they fixed it (re-gassed the A/C) and I paid them 79 for it. Apparently they didn't, because after a few days the A/C started deteriorating again, until it became inoperative. Yesterday I took my car to Murketts again, asking them specifically to check the A/C.
After checking it, they told me they found a leak on the condenser and it would cost 500+ to fix it. I decided not to fix it and when I went today to collect my car, they told me I had to pay an investigation charge. I asked to see the Office Manager (who btw was a very friendly and polite gentleman) and told him that not only I should not pay for this investigation, but they should fully refund me the 79 I paid them for supposedly fixing the A/C.
The Office Manager very kindly denied my claim saying that I have to pay the new charge and he cannot refund the previous one. On my arguments that: (a) I would not have brought my car for a second time if they had fixed it in the first place, so it's not my fault and I shouldn't pay the new charge (b) I don't have to pay 79 for a service that I have not received (fixing the A/C), so my claim for a refund is fair (c) They are the experts and they should have found the problem from the first time His words were "Of course we are the experts, but it's YOUR car" (sic) Eventually he agreed to wipe off the second charge but he firmly refused to agree on the refund, handing me the keys of the car.
I am really disappointed by their level of service and the way they treated me. I am still expecting them to reconsider their decision and issue me a full refund for the non-successful repair. Georgios (George) Prokopiou

I went down to the garage in Bury St Edmunds to look at a specific car, unfortunately on arrival the vehicle had sold, with this I was greeted by Craig Woodward, one of the sales team working that day, along with my daughter and my partner we had in mind the kind of car that we wanted. And what we wanted we got, Craig was extremely helpful from start to finish, he showed me a specific car that had just arrived and less than a week later it was prepped and ready to go.
Possibly the best experience I have ever had with anyone in the motor industry, such a genuine bloke who's not trying to force a sale like a lot of people. The pleasure was all mine and I'm sure when I'm ready for another car I'll be returning. BEST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER!

I had a great experience here thanks to Craig Woodward. Craig was personable and authentic which put me at ease and made buying my first car a straightforward and enjoyable experience. Excellent experience, would highly recommend even if you're not local, I purchased an Audi A1 Black Edition from Murketts and Jez was brilliant, he explained everything that I needed to know as this was my first time purchasing a car myself, and the after sales service was also amazing. As they're an RAC approved dealer, the car had been checked to a high standard and came with 12 months RAC Breakdown Cover, as well as 6 Months RAC warranty which can be used at any VAT registered garage. Absolutely flawless, and will be recommending to friends and family.

I enquired about a Lexus and asked about delivery, and received an email and missed call neither answering my question about a sale just saying it was going to Lexus and they would contact me. A week later I rang Dave and was told the car was at Lexus having a hybrid check and was still for sale he would contact me when back from a lexus. Just 3 days later no contact and the car has disappeared from their website and Auto trader. Its as though they don't want to sell cars, and just mess potential customers about.
