Sandal BMW

Booked the car in for a end of warranty check, MOT an Oil change after getting a text from BMW. Moved my work schedules to able to drop the car off. Left the car from 8am to 4pm. I received a call around 3 to confirm the work had been completed so I got a taxi to pick the car up. When I drove off in the car we got a "drivetrain error" (this didn't come up before) came up so I immediately called the service person (Stephen) who made me and my partner feel silly for even pointing it out and just kept saying it's fine to drive, it's not a big issue.

He drove the car in the garage and 5 minutes later came back out and said that there were no error message as if we were lying. Got back into the car and drove off and the same error message came up again, called the service guy again who made us feel like we were bothering him, he was clearly at the end of his shift. Long story short. we were given an appointment next week.

Absolutely appalling service from sandals Wakefield. Next day I called BMW Assist who then sent a mechanic to my house to have a look at the car. turned out it was NOT okay to drive and the car had to be taken to a garage. Luckily I was provided with a hire car. I called sandal the following day to raise a complaint with the manager but I was told that the manager was busy but he would call back. As expected the manager didn't call. Avoid at all cost!

Got to say spoke with 2 other BMW dealers then dealt with Louis Cosgrave who has been absolutely outstanding throughout the whole process. Louis made it such a joy in buying our new X3. Cannot thank this young man enough. Well done and thankyou once again and hope you enjoy your little drink we got got you. All the best for the future. Graham & Sarah

Service from start to finish was excellent, no hard sales tactics. I bought a BMW X6 from Sandal Wakefield, the experience was great. John, who looked after me, was a perfect gentleman, and a true professional made me feel important. The handover of the vehicle again was a great experience. Excellent customer service today from Stuart at Sandal Wakefield. Advised me on everything I needed to know about different specifications, models and colours. He was open and honest and really helped me make my mind up about which car I wanted. Nothing was too much to ask, credit to the team.

I've never found buying a car a particularly pleasant experience. However on this occasion i can honestly say that from start to finish it has been spot on with Sandal. From finding me the car I was looking for, to the handover, Sandals were outstanding. The price was excellent which led me to this dealer and from that point onwards the service was equally excellent. I drove over one hundred miles to buy and collect the car and it was worth it. Outstanding service, can't recommend enough.

Cannot in any way fault Sandal during the purchase of my new 1 series. Stuart and Amy were fantastic right through the whole process. Best car buying experience I've ever had. Highly recommend this dealership. So much better in my opinion than the large company multi dealerships. In this case smaller is definitely better.
