***AVOID AT ALL COSTS!*** One of the worst companies around. Lack of communication and unhelpful. We were sold an ex-army car which we were not told has 5 years of history missing and shows as being registered in 2018 when it is a 64 plate and manufactured in 2013. Unable to sell the car due to the missing history so decided to take back to Burnett and see what they would offer, 1800. for a car that 5 other companies would buy for upwards of 6000 if the history was there. Burnett Cars would then have gone to list this car for over 7000 and probably not told the new owner that they would not have a chance of selling the car due to the lack of history.

I really wonder how many people they have done this to. The staff and business are absolutely abysmal and should be ashamed of themselves. I have reported this to Trading Standards and will be sharing this review as far as I can.

Great range of cars - worth a look on the website beforehand if you're planning on heading there. All the staff are approachable and knowledgeable, but apply zero pressure and there's nobody stalking you as you browse and no breathing down your neck (which makes a nice change!) I had a million questions about all sorts of things relating to a vehicle purchase, and they were patient and answered them all fully, no fobbing off (again, makes a nice change). No pressure, no hassle and nothing seemingly too much trouble. Lovely people to do business with.

Travelled an hour to view a car I'd spotted on Autotrader. I was greeted and then given the space and time to view and drive the car and make up my mind without any hassle or pressure. A fuss free deal and the team were great fitting in with my plans to collect the car. Efficient and friendly service from every member of the team that I dealt with. I would recommend this company and would definitely use this garage again. Thanks everyone.

Everything was fine when I bought the car. But as you drive out of their company property. They don't care. If you want to contact them by email, don't do it. They don't care. Since the beginning of January, I have sent 7 emails. I'm still waiting for an answer.

I have recently bought a car from this garage which I sourced from autotrader. My initial contact was with James and the service was first class. No pushy sales, accommodating to when it was convenient for me to come and look at the car and very friendly. When I went to view the car, of course I looked round it and took it for a test drive and decided to buy it.

I noted a few minor discrepancies and James said they were more than happy to get them rectified. I couldn't take the car the same day as before it leaves their garage it has a full service and MOT. I was more than happy with that. When I returned the following week to pick the car up, it was immaculate and all ready to go. The garage provide a 3 month RAC warranty and keep you fully informed of the selling/work process the whole way through.

Their website states there is no leeway on selling price, which for me based on their sales and service provided is not an issue. I can fully recommend Burnett Cars and James for their professionalism, work carried out and vehicles.

A reputation for honesty and decency always goes a long way, never more so than for a used car dealership. I recently bought a car from Burnett Cars, and a couple of days later had my first opportunity for a proper drive of more than just a few minutes. Soon I noticed that there was a problem with the clutch slipping and the next day took the car back to Burnetts.

Mark drove the car for two minutes and agreed without hesitation that there was a problem, and offered to have the clutch replaced at his expense. Thanks Mark, and Burnett Cars.

Excellent car sales with incredible customer service in Chorley, Lancashire. Gave me a great deal on a part exchange for my Citroen C1! Bought a Dacia Duster in excellent condition with low mileage. I will return when I buy a car again as not too far from my Cheshire home either. Superb Covid 19 measurements in practice. Saw staff regularly wash hands and hand sanitiser available throughout the car sales offices. Clearly marked social distancing and appointments to view cars for sale.
