Really great experience, especially as our first stop on the Bourbon Trail. Very historical and was nice to have all this background information as we went into our weekend. It is very knowledge heavy, and has a "field trip" vibe to it. It took an hour, and it really didn't need to. The tour guide repeated a lot of what the video said almost word for word.
Other than that, really enjoyed it. I really wish though, that since this was where my group bought our bourban trail passports, that they would have informed us about how if you ask each distillery, they are supposed to give you a complimentary gift with your stamp. Otherwise, very nice experience!

The google hours were wrong and we went with only 12 minutes left in the day so this may not be fair. The google hours said they were open until 7 pm and they close at 5pm. We were able to go to the gift shop and do a little looking around. The people were nice and it probably is good if you have more time and can go on the tour and explore

Went with a group for a birthday bourbon tasting and had a great time! Learned a lot - a lot of interactive things on the tour like walking through a prohibition style town and having the tasting itself in a speak easy style bar room - the tasting itself was wonderful and our hosts were awesome. Definitely recommend going and want to go back!

The tour was awesome! Staff was super friendly! Definitely recommend you should call ahead and book a spot for the tour. It was booked for a solid month as of today. We didn't have a reservation and they still treated us great gave us a free bourbon tasting and then as we were about to leave the next tour was starting and a few people didn't show up so they let us in. Over all Great experience 5 Stars all around!

This is my first bourbon tour in the bourbon district and it was amazing! Our guide Andy is very knowledgeable and informative almost to everything. Details are presented, questions are well answered, jokes are funny. When moving to the tasting session at the end, I really appreciate the way he introduced stories behind those bourbons. I got a chance to see those tanks where fermentation is taking place; I can clearly see the surface is bubbling.
It's a quite unique experience. It's happy to how a brand like Evan Williams has started, developed, thrived, survived from the Prohibition Period and thrived again. I think all distilleries in the district give their own micro images to the ongoing story of Louisville.

We did the speakeasy tour which was amazing because I learned a lot about Louisville and local history. Prohibition laws and how that affected local commerce. Also the use of the Ohio river towards commerce and how that is all linked even to Bourbon street in Louisiana. Anyways great time learning and also tasting amazing bourbons. The speakeasy bar was nice and felt authentic and geniune. Loved it and I recommend it, without a doubt a great time.

It was the 1st tour of day 2 and early in the AM. oh well. It was great. I think the most informative tour of the 11 we did in our 5 day trip. Our tour guide Andy was amazing. he had all the details you could possibly ask for, he was training Mark. and I have no doubt that Mark is being trained by one of the best! We bought a lot of goodies from the gift shop here and enjoyed the downtown area a little before and after the tour. Shopped at a local candy store just a few blocks down that was recommended by the folks at Angels Envy. Loved the tasting in George's Bar, capacity 16. yes!
