Very pleased with the service at the Royston JRFord. My MBZ had been off the road and needed Service, MOT and Battery urgently. It was handled promptly and professionally. An excellent workshop - not just for Ford cars.

I have been using John r Ford for quite a few years now after becoming disillusioned with large dealerships. This family run company is excellent in all departments from car purchase to servicing. All staff are very well trained and very knowledgeable and always very pleasant to deal with and its nice to see the same people year after year. I have just bought my second new car from them after being very happy with the way they do business.

Both cars were arranged by Lee the sales manager who offers very good advice and always offers the best deal he can. Thank you Lee. So i would highly recommend them even if you do not live in their immediate area to giving them a try well worth a little journey. Kind Regards. John.

I took my Mondeo here for a service. The car was collected by Tony who explained who he was, proved he was from John R Ford and ran through what they would be doing with the car. I received a phone call a few hours later to advise that my front passenger side tyre was through to the cords and needed to be replaced. They asked if I wanted to replace all four (as they are getting low on tread) but I agreed for the front two tyres to replaced.

A hefty bill later and Tony dropped the car off nice and clean and ran through the paperwork with me. Although it cost more than expected, I was happy with my experience. Over the weekend I decided to check my wheel nuts had been tightened to the correct torque and the tyre pressures. The wheel nuts had been tightened correctly. The tyre pressures are another story.

They had replaced my front passenger side tyre and my rear drivers side tyre and put both the new tyres on the front. The front drivers side tyre had been moved to the rear but not had the tyre pressure reduced, leaving me running an overinflated tyre which is dangerous! While the tyres are the same spec, they were put on the car at different times.

This is never advised by a garage so I don't know why they ever thought it was a good idea! Having another two Fords in the family, I had said to Tony that he would be picking them up in the future for any works they may need. Unfortunately, that won't be that case now.

First time using this place for my MOT, very happy with the service. Friendly staff, reasonable price and all the required work was done and retested same day. Will definitely use again!

My Fiesta went in for Service and MOT, there were some recommendations for other work to be done. Estimate given, no other hidden costs. Car was also cleaned inside and out, at no extra charge. Staff always helpful.

As always a great experience. Car collected, great comms through the day on service and Mot, video overview whilst up on the ramp, and returned washed and polished. Can't recommend them enough.

I arranged an MOT with John R Ford for my Ford KUGA at their Royston branch. The booking was straight forward and I provided an estimate for when I would be able to collect the car, which was met. The whole experience was professionally handled, something that I have found at both their branches.

Top quality job and staff are so friendly and helpful. as a female who doesn't know much about car repairs I was made to feel very welcome and not intimidated at all. Thank you!

My car engine had randomly shut down without warning for a second time in a few months, and this garage was the only one equipped to investigate and available within a few days rather than weeks. They worked into the evening after getting the car midday and tracked down a short circuit in the wiring loom, giving me confidence that the real problem has been fixed and my car won't randomly stop driving again! Very pleased with the service.

Poor excuse for a garage and you will pay through the noise for a basic look over the vehicle, let alone the work that needs doing after. The staff were rude and didn't want to bother getting the car in for me. Over all it was a very dismissive experience and I will never use them again

I needed a new tyre and was quoted a very competitive price even travelling from Cambridge. I was met at the door by a very courteous Christian. Due to Covid-19 restrictions I could not wait in the reception area but Christian offered me a coffee and brought it out to me. I decided I would have a walk around Royston Town High Street. By the time I got back, the tyre had been fitted and the mechanic Colin had also checked the other tyres, the anti freeze and the washer bottle.

All the things I should do but don't. The service was fabulous, quick and Very friendly Thank you so much Gentlemen I am definitely coming back when I need something else done.

I bought my Ford Ranger Wildtrak from John R Ford and have always found their customer service and professionalism second to none. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my Ford looked after. That's why I've extended my warranty and service plan every three years. Top service from a top company and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I found the staff helpful, cheerful, friendly and diverse. The service was carried out to my wishes and the staff were very clear regarding the work that had been completed. I have used the above business for several years and always found them to be professional. I was able to leave the car the night before the service was due, the vehicle was returned fully valeted and in a timely manner. I highly recommend this garage as they are able to provide service for all vehicle makes, not just Ford.

I will save you the leg work, don't shop around for a trust worthy, reliable and honest garage. It's John R Ford & Sons in Royston with Renny's team. I have been going to them for years after several bad experiences with other garages. In September 2021 we wanted to take a trip to France covering several hundreds of miles and needed a reliable holiday service check.

This was carried out which gave us sound peace of mind. With there annual service, Ford offer a free breakdown cover to include Europe. What is there not to like about Ford. Unfortunately I was held up in London and it would be impossible to collect my car before the service team left. Safe arrangements were made for me to collect my car and I was able to return home.

During my holiday I hit a deer and was very concerned this had caused some damage. The service team took my car in at very short notice and within minutes assured me no damage had been done at no cost. This is not an isolated incident, time and time again Renny's team have checked over my car with no extra cost. They definitely provide a Rolls-Royce service and always give me sound advice.

John R Ford have done great work over several years. Getting the car booked in, then serviced and MOT'ed was quick and simple. They were polite and friendly which accounts for why I keep on using them.

My car wouldn't start so I had it taken to John R Ford & Sons as they did my MOT last year. They got me booked in and even made sure I could still have it dropped off once they closed (I was waiting for recovery). Turned out to be much less than the recovery mechanic thought it would be, they also fit me in for my service and MOT at the same time. Always polite, honest and friendly, plus they dropped it off to my home for me. Will always use these now.

Picked up our new Ford Kuga yesterday and our service with this garage has been superb. We chose to travel further to buy our new car as we found the service here was far superior to what we have had before. We will 100% be back again when we want to get another new car.

John R Fords have incredible customer service amd we have found that Lee in particular always goes above and beyond to help us out. From the time our car engine died on the motorway, to trading it in for. another, to our lease expiring during lockdown, Lee has always been there with help and advice. The rest of the staff are mega helpful and lovely too. we would definitely recommend you do business with them

Went in to speak to Lee about replacing my tired 2006 Fiesta with a used Focus. The staff were super helpful, listened to my requirements and were considerate of my budget. The team were happy to give me their time and help me find the ideal car, without applying any sales pressure. Very happy with my purchase and the way I was treated. Highly Recommended.

Went in to discuss purchasing a second hand car but after appraising my car told me they could buy it as a px as they didn't have a contact to sell it to. I would have accepted that but this was an arranged appointment and they were aware of all details in advance so why couldn't they tell me that over the phone rather than me wasting my time leaving work early getting there and driving straight home! I have had historic good experiences with them so was surprised and disappointed.
