107-series SLs - we have a very low mileage 1987D 300 SL in desirable nautic blue with leather interior. Only 43,000 miles and very well cared for. Also a very attractive 1986D 500 SL in arctic white with navy leather and a new navy soft top and air conditioning. The car has just had a lot of money spent on it recently to make it spot on. Only 2 owners and ex Isle of Wight. 124-series Cabriolets - we have a 1996P E320 Cabriolet a very well cared for 2 owner example with a high specification. 140-series Saloon - an exceptional 1999S S320 Saloon in gorgeous alexandra green metallic with mushroom leather.

I have just purchased a truly outstanding very low mileage Mercedes E190 from Charles. Really pleased with the car, and service provided. Have had a few Mercedes off Charles in the past, a really nice E320 cabriolet, which unfortunately I sold, and an old usable 123 diesel saloon, which I use to drive daily.

I have just purchased my seventh Mercedes car from Charles Ironside, a beautiful Mercedes E320 coupe C124. Charles always presents his cars beautifully with great attention to detail. You cannot compare the poor examples and associated lower prices found on many sites with Charles's cars. He is in my opinion one of the best classic car dealers I have dealt with over 15 years. If you want a quality classic Mercedes Charles is your man, he knows everything about the era of Mercedes he sells.

I bought a R129 500SL, which was absolutely gorgeous, surprisingly inexpensive and reliable. The car was perfectly described, exceptionally prepared and a few niggly issues were sorted before delivery. He is the go to guy for classics Merc's of this vintage with great stock and knowledge at least from my own personal experience. Now if only I could afford a G500.

I paid a premium price for a car advertised as being "exceptionally well cared for and is showing very little wear anywhere". "Everything on the car works as it should and it drives impeccably well". However, the car purchased from Charles Ironside Ltd failed to meet with my reasonable expectations based on the description and photos provided on the dealer's website.
It had a long list of faults/issues that required rectifying. After much arduous communications, between us, the dealer reluctantly, and without good grace, accepted return of the car for a full refund. Though I was still 200 out of pocket, with much time wasted.
