Extremely rude sales man completely ignored us no smile. When I asked what time they shut ( wanted to make sure it was the time I saw on the website) he said 5. Giving me plenty of time to look. He then got in the vehicle reversing very fast toward my husband and I and parked the car in the entrance. Never felt so unwelcome in a garage

I bought a VW Golf R just before Christmas from Greenhous and thought I'd take the time to share my experience. The car developed a couple of issues both quickly and correctly diagnosed straight away and resolved. The service I've had from these guys was first class, very professional, and I couldn't recommend them enough. Many thanks to Carl the sales guy Andrew on the service desk and Lee the mechanic. I'm really happy with the car.

Only allow your vehicle to be repaired here if you like OVERSPRAY on the alloys, underside of vehicle, plastic trim, roof rack, sliding door lock plastics, and further move a huge scratch from where there removed the sliding door. They think customers don't love their vehicles and won't notice! They wouldn't expect there OWN vehicle to be treated in the manner they treat their customers.
None of my vehicles will ever go near that place, if they need too. I haven't even mentioned the attitude of the Aussie Manager, disgusting, I didn't feel like a valued customer at all. My advice is to AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Where do I start. I took my pride and joy Insignia SRI VX-LINE 2.0 SIDI Petrol Turbo 2017 to Greenhous Vauxhall in Shrewsbury for a major service. I only wanted a main dealer to service my vehicle as I trusted it would be looked after. Oh my goodness how wrong was I. I waited around 3 hours for the major service and gearbox oil change which was fine.
I paid the bill of nearly 700 including some other parts which were fitted and went home. I decided to check under the bonnet just out of interest and noticed all of the screws around the airbox were all rounded off and sharp. I knew these were perfect before the service as I had detailed the engine bay a week before and even had photos of it. So off I went straight back to Vauxhall and asked for the screws to be replaced and showed them the before and after photos.
I was told these were not available to order on their own as they come as a complete set with the airbox housing which would be expensive. They asked the technician what the issue was, he replied that the screws were tight to get out. These are screws into plastic? I was told the manager would need be informed and they would get back to me. I decided to return home and take the cover off the airbox and see if everything else was OK.
To my shock the airbox was full of sand and grit, the plastics where the screws went were all chipped or broken. At this point I decided to check my dash cam which luckily recorded the complete service of my car. The technician had used a power tool to remove the screws which came out easily, the damage was caused to the screws and the housing replacing them as it was not aligned correctly and were forced back in using the same power tool.
He had slipped numerous times also damaging the top of the housing. The airbox wasn't cleaned out properly leaving sand and grit inside the airbox. This is where it gets even better. I carried on watching the footage, when the technician was about to test drive my car he had a call from reception to see how long the car would be. He replied " I'm just about to test drive it why?
Then continued to say " Don't forget to run away after you have taken the money off him" he then literally laughed down the phone. On hearing this I was gutted, upset, angry and very emotional. Basically I felt completely ripped off. I immediately phoned Vauxhall to explain what I had seen and heard on my dash cam. They didn't know what to say to be honest but said without seeing the footage they couldn't comment.
So I then emailed the footage and waited for a reply. I received a call apologising saying that it was disgusting behaviour and i was told the manager would have to get involved. So a week later I hear from Geoff, the manager of Greenhous Vauxhall who was very helpful and extremely professional at his job. He ordered the part for me which arrived 2 weeks later.
I have since fitted the part myself which only took 10 minutes to fit with a screwdriver. Why on earth was a power tool used causing this damage I have no idea. I have since been told the technician has had a warning but he is still working there. He takes no pride in his job whatsoever, and watching the footage is honestly shocking. Hopefully you don't get him working on your car.
