I can honestly say the owner of of Riviera Car Sales is a man you can trust. I bought a car from him 2 years ago.6 months warranty came automatically. I didn't need it. VW has been no trouble at all. His aftercare care service has been brilliant.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! Bought a Peugeot 308 from here two years ago for 2995. Within a month of owning the car it broke down due to a coolent leak causing the engine to overheat and blowing the head gasket. Repairs were well over 1000. Since then, I've had a heater matrix problem and water coming into the driver foot well due to a broken window seal.

It has now failed its MOT. The car has very high emissions due to the catalytic converter being faulty. I have also been told that the car is burning excessive oil and would be eight hours of labour needed to strip the engine and find the cause. The cost of repairs would be well over the purchase price so now the car is getting scrapped. Not what I had expected in the first two years of owning what I was told would be a used reliable car.

Two valuable lessons learned. Firstly, do not buy a car from here as they are clearly selling cars that they know are faulty. Secondly, always pay a professional to check a used car before you buy.

Just had my car valeted here, excellent service and it is like a new car! Very reasonably priced too! Highly recommend!

I love the guys in Riviera it's not just what they can do to my car any garage can do that aswell it's the sevice they give the humour the politeness and they don't rip you off mark and kyran are great guys x

I have brought 2 cars from this garage over the last 2 years the first car was in good maniacal condition but was involved in a accident so decided to buy the second car from a garage I could trust. We had a small issue if the second car and Mark fixed it with no arguments straight away. Mark behaved in a professional and helpful manner through out and took all the stress out of buying a new car! Even bring the car to me so I could test drive it as I had no car and live in a village so would have found it hard to get to him.

Mark is always friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond to keep this demanding Mazda Driver happy x

Reluctantly traded in my mini which I was told engine had seized and was worth only write off value of 100 as it would not be worth repairing. I personally had thought needed new clutch somewhat surprised to see it advertised and on his forecourt a few weeks later for 3495, with new clutch and tyres (which I fitted). No new engine! They also totally messed up transfer of my personal plate (although they blame dvla).

Finally got plate transferred four months later but without retention certificate, so apparently its only mine until I sell this car. The car I bought was ok, though it was advertised as having new cam belt fitted. When I bought it I was told there was no record of cam belt being fitted so it would need a new one.ao I am sure you will understand that I feel cheated

A professional service provided by Mark and his mechanic. Honest, reliable and polite. He gave us good advice, a fair price and time to make the right choice for us. The car was immaculate and exactly what we wanted. This garage provides value for money and is run on good old fashioned values of honesty and professionalism. We won't go anywhere else. Do not take your car here for any repairs. fitted an exhaust that snapped 9 months later - he tried to deny it was not the part he fitted. he ordered another part, after a week of excuses I asked him why it still hadn't been fixed, he became very aggressive and threw the keys back at me - oh and he was going to charge another 134 to refit the new part of the exhaust! took the car up to quick fit and exhaust all fitted within 15 minutes for 80. I'm surprised this place is still in business - definitely avoid at all costs!

Big thankyou to Garage Owner Mark who came out to me, inbetween jobs to start my car today. In fact this is the 2nd time he has provided this service in the last 6 months. Thank goodness for small businesses who provide a service at very realistic prices. Mark also got an old american car I had through repair and MOT. Mark the owner of the garage has been nothing but professional, honest and polite throughout every visit to the garage. He gave honest advice without pressure and explained every part of the job so I knew exactly what i was paying for. The quality of the service is second to none. They even delivered the car back to me which was most helpful. Just brought my 2nd car from here ( first one got written of when in a bad accident ). The service was fantastic, answered all my questions, gave us plenty of time to think things over. Had a full mot when I brought the car, and have since taken it back for a service, I could talk ask for a better garage, sales man and mechanics. Would highly recommend them to any one.

I just wanted to write and publically thank this garage for their assistance. My car had broken down and I found myself there. They explained what was wrong and what needed doing to make my car safe and roadworthy again. They were efficient and professional throughout. Their friendly and honest approach put me at ease and I was very impressed at the cost and quality of work.
