After 46 years Paul and June Matty have finally made the decision to retire. During those 46 years we have been able to manufacture and acquire most necessary replacement parts to keep classic Lotus cars up to the standard we all love and desire. We are forever indebted to all our staff over this time, who have helped us on our journey, and to all the fantastic customers around the world for their support, enabling us to fulfil our dream.
Now, at the age of 70, it is time to spend time playing with my own cars and really enjoy competing in our Hill Climb Championship.

Wanting to purchase parts online, rather than purchase them online they advise to telephone or email to buy the parts? So why offer the option of online purchase in the first place then? Rather odd that you would swap an automated service for manual input only to waste your own time answering phones & emails back and forth when you could be processing online orders, getting parts out the door and bringing money into the business?
That's a step back as opposed to forward. Having to ring/email to order parts simply puts me off buying parts here in the first place as it's a ridiculous system especially in 2022. No idea what's going on over there but good luck with the 'business'.

After looking for several months without finding a beautiful Lotus Elan in France, I finally went to Paul Matty Sports Cars on the advice of a friend of the Club Lotus France, who had already bought several cars there. Despite my low level of English, they made a lot of effort to be understood when I went to see the Lotus Elan at their garage. I finally got a beautiful 1968 Lotus Elan, after months of research.
A big thank-you to the entire team, especially Kate who answered all my questions. I exchanged a lot of mail (more easily understandable for me) with Kate, and she even took the time to finding me a transporter to deliver my Lotus Elan at home. A full check-up was also done before I recovered it. I can not put more than 5 stars, so it will be 5 out of 5 stars!

Paul and Kate were a delight to deal with. They patiently let me probe the Elan Plus 2 I bought from them on their workshop hoist, and answered all my many questions openly and with knowledge. Kate arranged the delivery of the car to Austria and that all went smoothly too. I would have no hesitation in going back to Paul Matty Sports cars as I quickly came to trust their skill and integrity.

Purchased a beautiful Lotus Elan Plus 2 from Paul Matty Sports Cars late summer last year. Katy and Paul were a delight to deal with and went out of there way to assist with making the purchase possible. Will be taking the car back to them for onward annual servicing. Would not hesitate in recommending them.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Paul over the last 10 years. He is Lotus through and through. I have purchased Lotus cars from him, and he has painlessly moved others on for me. We always see eye to eye, and the business dealings have been a pleasure. Fun actually. Paul is a rarity among folk who make their living from cars, a completely straight guy who I am also happy to call a friend.
His team are all first class and I recommend them to anyone for an honest assessment of their cars or for their requirements. Paul tried to retire a few years ago, and such was the outcry that we didn't let him. That says it all.

Up until a couple of years ago I owned a lotus and quickly found this was the place to get it looked after. The team are friendly and mostly lotus and classic car mad, some still race! Their enthusiasm always helped settle the shock of the bill and, to be fair, they charge reasonable rates considering it's a specialist service - cheaper than other Lotus specialists.
It's a great place to have a look too. Like a living museum of classic cars and various makes. They also sell cars after restoration and you could find anything from modern models right beck though generations and including cars with much race history. Great specialist service with a lot of respect in the industry
