Have to give 1 star otherwise I can't leave a review. I bought a meriva off these in October last year, went for a weekend away and something happened on the way back home to the car, which meant on the motorway my husband couldn't go over 60mph and the steering was shaking. My tyres were all bald and actually illegal. The heater fuse went but they did come and fix that.

I've now got to have a new spring put in and the power steering pump has gone, I've had no car for nearly 2 weeks now while a garage manages to fix it, because it's electric pump I'm looking at about another 500_ 700. I paid 3000 for the car and with this and all other jobs it'll take it to just over 4000, not including bus and taxi fare to work and back each time something else breaks. I trusted the men at the garage and thought they were genuine, lesson learnt.

Wouldn't even give a one star with how I was spoken today. Would not recommend staff spoke to me really rude and made me feel like I had done something wrong. Was selling my car to them and agreed on a price but couldn't see until log book came back to be told it's my fault why the log book has took so long and I'm lucky I'm getting the money he was offering for it. This was not Alan was a man there on his own speaking on behalf of Alan and was the rudest person to us.

After 50 yrs of buying almost 100 different cars i have never found a car dealer as good as AK Simpson : they even spent loads of money sorting our first choice of car. but we fell in love with the one they very kindly loaned us and upgraded to that and we still enjoy seeing it sat on our drive looking superb their service is. out of this world

Excellent service. Can't recommend them highly enough. Alan and his team are genuine people who you can trust. The car was just as described and really good quality. All the interactions were helpful and the purchase was organized well- they know their job and they do it well.

Bought a car from this Place a few years ago, within 6 months it needed a new Clutch, Gearbox and eventually Rear Suspension. Part exchanged it within a year for a less than a third of what I paid for it. They seem to get cars in and not check them before passing them on to their customers and hope they don't break down during the warranty. Great Sales service at the time but everything that came afterwards was a nightmare.

Bought an RCZ from AK Simpson almost 6 months ago now, excellent service from start to finish. Team were very friendly and patient, willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is in good order. car runs and drives great, and was at an excellent price. They were very honest about the shortcomings of the Prince engine this car uses (similar to the MINI engine), any items that were in need of attention were sorted swiftly and I was kept informed every step of the way. Thank you Alan and Paul - will definitely return in the future!

Would highly recommend AK Simpson, both Paul and Alan we're helpful, friendly and considerate. Any issues with my car we're addressed promptly, I can not fault them. Being a Trading Standards officer for over 30 years, I was pleased to see that AK Simpson had signed up to the AA dealer promise that includes consideration of the Consumer Rights Act. They also provide their own warranty for extra piece of mind. Definitely 5 stars.

I've been using A K Simpson for all my cars for over 20 years now and have never had a problem with any of the numerous cars I've bought. Alan and his staff are always helpful and the after sales service is second to none. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Recently bought a car from this dealership. The sales team are very polite and knowledgeable. I needed a hand with something after the purchase of my car, Paul- the sales manager was second to none. My family member purchased a renault clio of this company. Just after 1000 miles he came to me asking if I could look at his brakes as he didn't feel they were working right. After inspecting, I was horrified in what I found. The front brakes was completely shot to a point I have never seen, bearing in mind I am a mechanic for just over 7 years. These brakes was like this when he purchased it. (I am sure this can not happen with just 1000miles of driving).

I called them as I was not happy, they used the excuse of it having mot on the vehicle and to contact the mot garage but at the end of the day they must have a responsibility to sell a car in at least a safe condition. They did say would get me the parts trade price. They told me that they DO NOT INSPECT THE VECHLE just when they come in they valet them and send them out, which I find outrageous (just a simple check of the brakes) i hope this might get them to check cars before selling.

Because next time it might be too late. I hope this will help someone buying a car the these people, just make sure you take someone with you who will no the basic stuff on cars. (PLEASE JUST DO A HEALTH CHECK OF THE VEHCLE)
