Last year I ordered a VW car on a outright purchase basis from this company based in Warrington. However, last month they me a lousy excuse that they cannot deliver the car. Almost 8 months of waiting and now im out of pocket because the same car is now 7k more if i was to order from a dealer. This company have most likely sold my car to another customer privately at a higher price. I made a mistake ordering from them. I ordered with them because Trust piolet reviews was 'Excellent'. I don't believe those reviews now as most are probably fake.

My partner ordered a brand new car last November 2021 as a cash purchase from this company - Auto Union Finance - Trading as New-Car-Discount.com. Delivery was due February 2022, however, they informed my partner in March 2022 that the order would be delayed because of the global chip shortage which was understandable. Two weeks ago, my partner got a call from them informing her that the delivery is due very soon but they had a change of rule and would require the car to be registered in their name first and will transfer to her name at a later date.
On hearing this my partner was baffled and somewhat shocked as this was something she never agreed to. New-Car-Discount.com did not provide any valid reasons, so my partner is really upset and regrets placing an order with them considering the same car is now 4 to 5 thousand pounds more. I contacted a friend who works for a Ford garage and he said that some middle men and car brokers do this sort of stuff so that they can claim back VAT.
It seems there is a loop hole in the system. HMRC needs to be notified. Avoid them at all cost - they should be ashamed of themselves for not keeping to their contract. If a company is offering discounts and is cheaper than the market rate, then ask yourself if you should buy from them as there's always a catch.

I wasn't going to leave a bad review but after reading some off there other latest reviews everything now makes sense as to why its taking nearly a year to receive are logbook for our new car. We had brought a private registration number/number plate shortly after buying the car and we needed the logbook to change the registration on the vehicle to the private plate.
They kept giving us differing information and kept blaming the dealership & DVLA as to why we hadn't received the logbook. If you google (V5 retention on new vehicle) it will explain everything in which nothing was explained to us upon buying the car regarding this. We have also spoken to the dealership who are now fully aware what this company are doing and they have advised us that it is fraud, also in which we are now looking to work along side the dealership to report this.
So basically we have learned that this is to good to be true and to buy your next vehicle from a dealership as you will be told the truth and will not have any problems. We were also not aware but our insurance would have also been invalid as the vehicle was not registered to us.

Bought a Nissan 18 months ago. Brilliant service, updated at every point of the process. Deposit paid, final payment made in advance the day before delivery, next day, car arrived on the back of a low loader, was fully inspected, and a small bit of bird droppings was cleaned before he handed over the keys. Very happy customer who has recommended to family who again have had the same service. Try at a dealership, then buy from these guys. Simple.

Just taken delivery of our new Nissan Micra Tekna! Absolutely delighted with everything from first contact with New-car-discount to delivery this morning. I have just received my new car and I'm over the moon with it. The whole buying experience from first contacting Nick to delivery day has been so professionally done, I was very apprehensive as I'd never bought a car online but nothing was too much trouble for Nick, he replied to my queries straight away putting my mind at ease.
