The garage has been owned and run by Graham Peake and his family since 1982, however there has been a garage on the site since approximately 1901. During this time we have continually reinvested in the site including a new petrol forecourt building in 1992, a new showroom in 2006 and a new automated MOT test lane in 2014.

The Wilcox company was established in 1929, as a garage servicing and selling motor cars. In 1939 they were appointed Austin dealers, and as time progressed they held a franchise with the BMC, BL and MG Rover organisations. In 2004 they became Main Dealers for Daihatsu, and in January 2007 they were appointed Main Dealers for Citroen Cars and Light Commercial vehicles. The company is now managed by
