Dove House Motor Company was founded by a car enthusiast and collector who originally started the business from his home in 2001. The business quickly outgrew the owner's home and in 2003 we commissioned our current premises to be purpose-built to support the rapidly expanding business and since then we have continued to grow in all areas.

Before any Dove House approved car is displayed in our showroom it receives our in-house 'Full Valet' from our highly skilled valeter/detailer. Firstly the lower half of the car is sprayed with TFR (traffic film remover - non-caustic) to help remove stubborn dirt and then thoroughly washed, including door sills, wheel arches and engine bay to ascertain the condition of the paintwork. If necessary the car is then given a one stage machine polish (paint protection) with mild abrasives to remove any light defects in the paint.

I met Chris and Tony when my Cayman decided to develop an electrical fault while driving to a Bedford track day. I googled for the nearest Porsche specialist which took me to Dovehouse. At 8:30am despite me not having a booking and the guys having a busy workshop, Tony plugged the car in to his computer, and made it a priority to fix it asap to have me out on track in no time!
The super friendly customer service and overall customer experience I received from Tony and Chris was second to none, and I would recommend these guys to any other Porsche owner for their maintenance and servicing requirements.

Simon at Dove House Motors simply could not be more helpful. He sold my 911 for me and made everything so easy for me. He was very responsive to my phone calls and messages, and answered all my queries positively and quickly, with no 'ifs or buts' He arranged for a specialist wheel refurbishment company to call at his premises to carry out their work, and charged me only their own costs. (100/wheel) Similarly Simon arranged for another company specialising in paint work to collect my car from him, repair a stone-chipped area and return the car to him, and Simon suggested I paid them directly.
This gave me confidence about Simon's honesty and integrity, other Porsche specialists I have dealt with previously took a commission for arranging work like this. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he is now my choice for any future cars I may sell

Just purchased our first Porsche and have to say the experience with Dove House was very good - professional and relaxed. It was reassuring to do business with Nick who really knows his stuff and is clearly passionate about these cars. He was able to provide all kinds of information that gave us confidence in the car we were buying. When the time comes for a change, we'll be contacting Dove House first.
