Unfortunately had to take my Motorhome here as requested by warranty company when it developed a hesitation on acceleration, 1st visit EGR was replaced, on next holiday had exact same problem so took back and HP fuel rail was replaced- next holiday exactly the same and had to come home early, after a further 2 "repairs" and holidays cut short and returning it to York, Ward and Rowlett the warranty company unsurprising refused to pay - I was told it was a new fault and would have to pay 99 to be told what fault was, then I was to be charged another 374 for "further diagnosis" before any actual repairs were carried out - even though original fault had never been rectified- refused to pay this, picked up Motorhome and took it to Premier motors Bedford- found it was a faulty fuel relay all along which cost 5 - now runs perfectly for 1st time since I've had it, avoid this place at all costs.

Purchased a Vauxhall with only 25,000 miles on the clock. Started having problems with the clutch pedal slipping. I took the car in to be looked at and was told that the slave cylinder could be leaking but wouldn't know unless the gear box was removed. Was told that due to the amount of miles the car had done, if the cylinder was faulty the work could be done under warranty I was given a price to take out the gear box and to replace the cylinder, clutch and flywheel as a worst case scenario which was 1,400.
I was absolutely gutted as the car was only 3 1/2 years old, the mileage was very reasonable and I had already spent every penny I had saved on buying it. I was hoping for at lease a few thousand miles of motoring before the car went wrong! Anyway.the lady behind the service desk could see I was upset and offered me her friends and family discount which I thought was really kind of her.
I agreed to take the car back and have the gearbox removed to find out what the problem was on the understanding I would be called with the outcome before any work went ahead. The car went in but I received no phone call until the car was actually fixed and ready to be collected. When I collected the car I was charged just under 1,000 (with the family and friends discount) to replace the slave cylinder and clutch (but not the flywheel).
When I asked if the cylinder was faulty I was told it would go though a Vauxhall inspection and they would let me know the outcome. I never received a phone call, so after a few weeks I chased them only to be told that due to the fact I had used a family and friends discount the cylinder and clutch was not replaced with genuine Vauxhall parts and therefore Vauxhall would not look at it as a warranty.
Under no circumstances was I ever told that using a family and friends discount would jeopardise making a full claim against a faulty part, nor was I told non genuine parts would be used instead of original otherwise I would never have accepted it. Besides, I never even gave them permission to carry out the work in the 1st place as they didn't ring me so why fit any parts genuine or not?
The only explanation I received was that the lady who offered me the discount had since been dismissed and the blame was all put onto her. So, I will never know if the cylinder was faulty, it obviously was leaking as they also replaced the clutch albeit with non genuine parts, and there is nothing they can do to help me! "We can only apologise" Well your apology doesn't help me with the 1,000 I had to borrow to fix something that might well have already been faulty in the first place!
In Answer to your reply. it is irrelevant how many miles I had covered in 7 months, if the part was faulty it was faulty. As for taking out extra warranty, I couldn't afford it as I had spent all of my money on the car and taking out gap insurance which was sold to me over the warranty. I also did ask the question about the part when I collected the car and your Service guy (I won't mention names) said he would look into it and come back to me which he never did.
Yes you gave me a discount but under no circumstances was I told it would affect my claim if the cylinder was faulty nor was I told they would be non genuine. And like I said originally, I was as good as told I would be reimbursed with the whole amount if the part was at fault.it seems you are trying to rebound this back on to me because I didn't take out extra warranty when quite clearly you have made mistakes by not checking the part for faults in the first place.

One of the nicest experiences I have ever had collecting a new car. This is a very well managed, professional car dealership where much investment in training has obviously taken place. Reception staff are delightful. Car handover member of staff was also delightful. The overall communication with the dealership inspired me with confidence at every stage from initial enquiry to collection of my car.

Just had wife's car serviced and Boxer motorhome checked out at this dealer, I don't normally have many good things to say about car dealerships however, the service I received was excellent especially from Steve the workshop manager I believe, who went above and beyond to assist in my problem with the motorhome all under warranty. I shall be returning I just hope it continues thanks Steve.

Made the mistake of taking our car to YWR with a number plate warning light. Was were advised to have the water pump and cam belt changed whilst there which we did. Very next morning we had an oil pressure warning light appear and for weeks after that YWR tried different things but had no clue what to do (they told me to keep driving it as it was probably a sensor issue).
Eventually they replaced the Oil Pump at around 1,000 which stopped the warning light issue. I was offered to inspect the part when collecting the vehicle to demonstrate this was wear and tear but surprisingly when I collected the car no one could show me the part! Paid under duress and contacted the Motor Ombudsman who took over a year to reply and their response was pretty useless.
Basically I have to prove that they caused the issue and have to accept that this was completely co-incidental. I asked the garage to pay for the labor and I would pay for the parts at the time as a compromise but they refused. They were always polite but I would not trust this garage again. Oh and the number plate bulb warning still comes on now even though the bulb has been changed. Thanks! UPDATE FOLLOWING YWR RESPONSE ** I was not referred to the motor ombudsman by YWR I told you I was seeking advice which seemed to upset your Ops Manager ** The ombudsman may be impartial but their service is awful.
I would have respected a fair impartial decision but as I am expected to prove that YWR caused the damage this is impossible especially when you went back on your promise and refused to show me the faulty part. I should have taken the car elsewhere rather than trust you further. You live and learn but hopefully someone considering using your services will read this and think twice **

I've collected my car yesterday and I still can believe that was handed over to me the way it was. I had feeling that I bought brand new car, literally. It is absolutely pleasure to buy car from you guys. I came in on Sunday morning before opening time, Richard opened car park for me to show me the car. I didn't even drive car before I collected it and drives like brand new car. Richard, Sam, Zak, George and of course Paul at the end are very very professional guys. The whole place makes you feel very special. I will definitely come back to you when is time for another car. I wish you all the best and I can't thank you enough guys.

Lovely when you buy the car but had problem with the car and are not willing to actually fault find the problem. And now the car been to the garage twice and still not fix. My car wasn't even looked at. They have spoken to my pregnant partner disgustingly not only on the phone but in the store. To top it of want to charge us for a hire car when we have already paid for it through the hire company and threatened us with a letter!

Great experience buying a used car from these Guys. I found the car with the spec I wanted online, I spoke to salesman Peter on the phone and we discussed the value the of my part exchange, I placed a small deposit on the car and a couple of days later we drove the 2 hours to the dealership. The car was exactly as Peter described it and the price on my part exchange was very fair.
We asked for a couple of things to be attended to on the cat and they were happy to do those. On handover day we were looked after admirably by Paul, everything was ready when we got there. I have brought plenty of cars in my time and this was probably the most hassle free deal I have ever done even though the dealership is 100+ miles from us. Would definitely recommend this dealership. Straightforward and customer focused.
