Crossgates Car Sales was established in 1997 by Kevin and Sally Taylor. Having established their motor vehicle and car repair business the year previously, under the name of Kevin Taylor Motor Engineer, it was necessary to expand into the current premises. Having the benefit of a sales forecourt, Crossgates Car Sales was formed. In his early career Kevin worked for a Volvo specialist centre and progessed to becoming workshop foreman for Renault, Citroen, and Suzuki dealers. He has been involved in the motor trade for nearly 30 years.

I have had dealings with Kevin on 3 occasions and have found him to be fair, honest and reliable. He is on hand to give advice, an honest appraisal, and is negotiable on price. The cars he sells are clean, reliable and fairly priced. The parking area is limited so he cannot afford to over stock but he does sell a variety of vehicles. it is his business and his word is his bond. Offers a fair price if you want to sell or trade in your vehicle and will even run you home if you are stuck. I have sold 2 cars to him and been highly delighted with his price and demeanour. Not pushy, well informed and offers every assistance and advice.

Not impressed wanted to buy a car and trade my own a ford fiesta 63 reg just less than 25, 000 miles in excellent condition, he obviously didn't want trade which is fine, not sure why but instead of just saying he didn't want my car which is his choice fine, said he would to ring at teatime to give his offer which he didn't wasted a whole afternoon, I had to ring him, why didn't he just tell me straight away, not impressed not very truthful.
